Doesn't let you upgrade it to an iphone.

I collected it yesterday from the London Sozo store. Pretty good phone.

Damn if this has a decent telephoto it would be pretty much perfect for this price.

That was what put me off from reviews, camera is something I'm quite fussy on as my last phone wasn't great on the camera front.

I really like the minimalist design of this phone.. I've been making my own version with my redmi.. Downloaded a nothing phone app and widget app and bought a grey and white circuit board back cover.. Its only for fun but looks quite like a nothing phone as I can't afford one at the moment sadly.. I will do one day though.. Thanks OP for sharing..

Also consider the Phone 1 - yes it doesn't have the same performance, but it's fine for most things and can be had a lot cheaper now it's been discontinued.

Don't know about anyone else but the whole 'Nothing' thing doesn't exactly inspire confidence

Does anyone know if this phone can record calls? I've had difficulty finding a call recorder app that works on newer phones.

Edit - often when googling it'll say a phone does record, but that doesn't seem to apply when the phone is in the United Kingdom. (edited)

I think that was an EU directive, which requires you to gain consent of the 3rd party before recording them. Xiaomi phones with EEA firmware don't have call recording, but the global firmware does. Being now out of the EU we could ditch that requirement along with many others, though for some reason the government doesn't seem keen on doing so.

Would you rather a more expensive pixel with Google finish or this?
