  • Neolithic Marvels: Uncover the ingenuity of Ireland’s Neolithic ancestors, who sculpted mega-monuments from the earth long before the myths of giants and wizards arose to explain their origins.
  • The Dawn of the Celts: March alongside the Celts, the indomitable warriors of Europe, whose spirit was so fierce that even the mighty Romans erected barriers to hold their advance at bay.
  • From Pagan to Sacred: Follow Ireland’s transformative path from paganism to Christianity, led by none other than Saint Patrick, whose missionary journeys laid the foundations of faith across the island.
  • Viking Raids to Norman Conquests: Stand at the crossroads of history during the tumultuous eras of Viking raids and Norman invasions, witnessing the resilience of the Irish spirit.
  • The Tudor Plantations: Navigate the complex sociopolitical landscapes sculpted by Queen Elizabeth and her successors. Discover the prelude to centuries of strife that would reshape the island forever.
  • The Troubles and Beyond: Explore the modern saga of Ireland and its testament to the enduring spirit of the Irish people and the complex tapestry of their past.

The whole history of Ireland in 106 pages...

I am seeing a lot of these free kindle "books" recently...particularly history and biography, and often between 60-90 pages "long".

They are junk, aren't they (?), feels like you would learn more about a subject from a ten minute YouTube video, or focused Wikipedia pages. (edited)

I’m suspicious too. Wonder what there is to stop a person copying and pasting from internet and selling on kindle. Can’t imagine much

Always loved reading about the history of Ireland from GCSE history to now as a 36 year old. Fascinating country.

    Zero reviews. Probably not great.

@redbalthazar. I'm with you on that point. I don't know a great deal about Ireland, but I'm hazarding a guess that 107 Kindle-formatted pages would NOT due it justice.

I haven't read the eBook ... yet ... as I have several books that I've started to read, got sidetracked, and opened up other books, but I WILL get there, eventually.
