Shop 5 times, get 900 nectar points.
The Nectar Shop for Points Challenge ("Promotion") will offer you Nectar bonus points on the completion of the shopping tasks at Sainsbury's set out in your Nectar app based on your purchasing history ("Shop(s)"). The Promotion is available by invitation only, via email and push notification sent to you by Nectar.
Your participation in the Promotion can only be accessed via the Nectar app where you must click on the Shop for Points Challenge tile and opt-in by 04 June 2024. The Promotion runs between 08 May 2024 and 04 June 2024 inclusive (the "Promotional Dates") and Sainsbury’s Online orders must be delivered within the Promotional Dates to qualify. Delivery charges may apply. Nectar card swipe is required at checkout on transaction instore and Nectar and Sainsbury’s accounts must be linked for online. A minimum spend of £1 is required on each Shop ("Qualifying Spend”). You cannot use Nectar points to pay for the purchase of your entire Shop, and Shops paid for with a mix of both Nectar points and pounds will require a minimum spend of £1 in pounds.
Standard base Nectar points will be collected as normal during your Shops. As part of the Promotion we’ll add your additional Nectar bonus points after you complete each of your Shops set out in the Nectar app within the Promotional Dates. The amount of additional Nectar bonus points may vary per customer. Such additional Nectar bonus points will be awarded to the primary Nectar account holder within 28 days of the Promotion end date. Your Shops will remain available to view in the Nectar app until 04 June 2024.
Qualifying Spend and Nectar points are excluded on spirits and liqueurs, any alcohol offers on buy 6 save 25%, all alcohol in Scotland & Wales and only where earning or redeeming Nectar points, any alcohol product containing more than 0.5% ABV in Northern Ireland, baby milk products, lottery tickets, tobacco and related products, gift vouchers/cards all prescription and medicines, savings and postage stamps, mobile phone cards and vouchers, e top-up, paypoint payments, charity products, car park tickets, travel money, fuel (except where stated), cashback or saveback, vending machines, concessions, restaurants and coffee shops.
The Promotion is not transferable. All Nectar points are subject to the Nectar Collector Rules which are available at Nectar.com. We reserve the right to amend or withdraw this offer at any time.

According to MSE, Tesco are also doing a similar promotion for ‘select’ customers. e.g complete various shopping challenges to get bonus Clubcard points.
Someone at Nectar read our comments on the double up deal before Christmas.

Also, what is the best way and time to spend the nectar points to get most value out of them. I've been collecting for a long time but have never actually used them and have about 19,000 points sitting there.

Best at moment is get an eBay voucher, get half points back. Account specific via nectar app
