I prefer the documentary extras which the James Bond special editions had.  However this has been somewhat lacking in content since the release of Many of the Daniel Craig films.

Agreed. Those 30 minute documentaries were fantastic, ever since the original silver tin DVD collection. Unfortunately the most recent film the making of bonus disc felt like a total waste of time. It was the same b-roll footage with only a focus on a couple of scenes.

Made me decide to pick up this book.
