One week later, Olympiacos will play Fiorentina in the UEFA Europa Conference League final on Wednesday, May 29 at the AEK Arena in Athens.

Finishing off the trio of European finals, the UEFA Champions League final will see Borussia Dortmund take on Real Madrid, live from Wembley Stadium on Saturday, June 1.

That was when it was BT Sport it was on YouTube. This is TNT sports which have their own platform to show it for free (i.e. Discovery+)

Since this has been posted YET AGAIN, I may as well repost my comment from last year. Every year I log onto this site and see this so called 'deal', and every single time without fail it ruins my day. What a joke.

Cold cold cold cold cold, this has always been free on ITV in the past, BT bought the rights and only made the two European finals free because they were contractually obliged to do so.

1. They deserve NO credit whatsoever for making it free - as mentioned, they're only doing it because they have to
2. This is NOT a deal. The match has always been free. Before BT Sport came and stole the rights, putting the vast majority of games behind a paywall, many European games were free to watch on ITV for decades. Far from being a 'deal', the offering non-paying viewers are provided with now is the bare minimum and nothing compared to what we used to be able to enjoy

STOP POSTING THESE NON DEALS EVERY SINGLE YEAR. If something's normally paid, then that means it's a deal to get it for free. If it's been free for decades, it's not a deal

Annoyingly, my 2017 LG 55" OLED TV was one year too old to have the discovery+ app in the LG Content Store on my set (needs webOS 4+ apparently, no idea why though). Instead, I watched the surprisngly one-sided (and not for the "invincibles") Europa League final on discovery+ but had to use the Android tablet app casted to my Chromecast Ultra (which I rarely use - came as part of a £50 Cyberpunk 2077 Stadia deal that I got the money back for when Stadia was closed). I didn't realise you can shut down the tablet once the Chromecast stream had started, which was cute.

Well, maybe less than cute when it buffered once during the game for about 15 seconds and when it came back, it rewound 15 secs and replayed the video again. Other than that, it seemed to work well, so roll on the other 2 finals. I still think YouTube airings like previous years would garner a lot bigger streaming audience for the finals - it's on far more platforms and doesn't require registration either. (edited)

I registered last week to watch the Europa League final.

Picture quality was fine but so many glitches in media player they use. They've tried to be clever but it's not really fit for purpose. I missed the 1st goal and every time I tried to rewind back to the goal it would take me to kickoff again.

I gave up on it after a while and lost interest in the game and started watch cat videos on YouTube.
