12 Months Xbox Live Gold (Turkey - VPN Required) £24.99 at CDKeys

Thanks this worked perfectly as my UGP from lockdown had expired.

I bought 3 x 12months XBL for £80

Turned on UrbanVPN on laptop and switched to Turkey - each code was then redeemed taking XBL sub to April 2026. Made sure I had recurring billing turned off.

Turned off UrbanVPN logged back into my Microsoft account and then clicked on the join UGP for 10.99 p/m link. Paid 10.99 and then all 36 months got converted to UGP until April 2026. Turned off recurring billing.

I suspect this method may not be around in 2026 but I said the same in 2020.

Some reddit thread suggests they may have clamped down and limited Turkey to 1 year at a time?
if anyone has a workaround to stack please post it.

How many months is this in ULTIMATE? (edited)

I have one month ultimate game pass, which I bought last month for 52p. If I buy this one and add it to my account, what will happen? Sorry for my limited knowledge

Last month I just bought a USA monthly game pass key for around 90p. Still needed a VPN to activate from US but no messing with converting gold and spending another £10 on top. Can't find one that cheap this month but still only around £2.50. if you don't use it every month might be cheaper...

My Xbox UGP sub ended last month and I hadn't renewed. I've bought two of these 12 month codes, with the intention of upgrading to Ultimate with a one month UGP sub.

Managed to get the first one to add changing my billing region and using Urban VPN. However when I try to redeem the second code, I get this:

"Hold off extending this right now
You've reached the limit of how far you can extend a subscription. Try again later at a later date."

Subscription expires on 3 April 2024 according to Services & subscriptions. I was under the impression you could add up to 36 months.

Any idea how to bypass that or indeed how long the codes are valid? (edited)

Check on process if someone can please confirm:

1) but 12 month gold from cdkeys (no vpn required)

2) log into standard uk MS account (with uk address details etc) whilst vpn presenting Turkey address. Activate code.

3) Add one month GPU code (no need to use vpn if valid uk code) to convert to ultimate.

Guessing you can't convert to XGP Ultimate for £1 anymore since MS have stopped offering the trial now?

Any recommended freeVPN that doesn't require an app or pluggin? So a website that just routes the traffic from turkey? If not someone should invent that option...

Is it easy enough to use this way and get the 3 years of GPU?

Can u mix and match codes? Got 5*3 (4 if I get lucky) UK codes so need another 21 months.

Maybe a stupid question but do you just have to use a VPN to activate or use one all the time you use your sub?

Pain in the backside to get a VPN to trick the redeem code (Nord don't work) but it's worked now, didn't bother stacking but a year worked fine and paid for the ultimate 1 month EU on cdkeys for 5.49...which worked perfectly (without needing a VPN for that bit)

Will windscribe work for the vpn for this? My xbox ultimate ends in 2 days so will let it expire and get these codes.

I’ve used two vpns and changed my location to turkey but nothing seems to work! Any help would be appreciated

I just used a cheapo one month Ultimate Game Pass sub I got online to covert this into 12 months. Worked fine.

All in all this will cost me £2.45 per month, which is not too bad. I have heard from a Microsoft employee that they're going to take some sort of action on these loopholes at some point in the not too distant future (though they didn't elaborate on specifically how) so thought I might as well take advantage whilst it's still doable.

Turkish VPN, added 1 year gold ok. Tried to add 2nd year but said this code conflicts with a current offer. Gold and ultimate had totally expired in a 16 year old account. Tried a worldwide 1 month ultimate but just said there has been a problem our end (UK and Turkish IP). Then tried the £10.99 one month and it said that it would convert gold to 12 months ultimate but again "problem our end please try later"

Tried the second 1 year Xbox live code on daughter's account which had 1 month ultimate applied already and it converted it to ultimate until end of sep 23.

So not stackable for me.

If I buy the the 3 12 month turkey xbox live on cd Keys and redeem them. Does the game pass ultimate have to be Turkish to or can that be English?

My sub expires in September so i'm probably best to wait as I can see them removing this option by that point.
