Found this on steam and it worked.
I was having some similar issues and none of the solutions people were claiming to have found online worked for me. What eventually fixed the issue for me was changing the high DPI settings for EALink.exe, which runs when you try to launch the game. The application can be found at C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin, or wherever you've installed Origin. Right click on the file, select Properties, select the Compatibility tab and then click Change high DPI settings. At the bottom of the menu that appears, select the checkbox beside "Overide high DPI scaling behaviour." Finally, select System from the dropdown menu. Hope this helps some others.
It's not nonsense though is it, you used the analogy of low incomes vs us, which may be correct, but what I stated is also correct, I stated the US as a example. ps4 for example or any console for that matter or any electronic device, there's a huge mark up from the US price to the UK price, they're not on a lower income than us and the tax conversion doesn't equal out, many many people will agree.

eveything regarding the process of purchasing has been said already.
You don't use epic account to play any of the games that is using third party launcher like uPlay, Rockstar Club, Blizzard Launcher, Origin etc.
Epic is used only once to validate purchase, that's it. You don't need to launch EPIC STORE in order to play RDR2.
You are just using the Rockstar Club launcher, I have 5 games on Rockstar Launcher, with RDR2 it's 6.
I didn't even had to create another Rockstar Club account to play the game.

fix your vpn. I see that 99% of the problems here comes from people with lack of knowledge on which one and how to use vpn properly.
rdr2 hasn't been cracked
Cracking games is a song of past. It takes too much resources and time to crack a game these days.
There are extremely advanced thrid party companies that are developing anti cheat and cracking systems that are used by game developers. It's an advanced DRM system so advanced that the cracking teams just decided to pass on cracking because it was pointless and was consuming way too much resources and time.
RDR2 is basically uncrackable as I read few weeks ago.
Will wait until more will use this method and no account banning will occur. I start to care about my Epic Games library

yes, I've checked different regions such as Vietnam and Argentina, and as complete package if you are planning on buying multiple A++ games the Georgia offer looks the best to me, yes the Fallen Order is cheaper but wont get you +10USD off for another purchase. If you are after one game only. Definitely Vietnam or Argentina.
As a package of three games, Georgia calculates better to me if you don't want to spend time looking for fillers to have the basket filled with games you won't play anyway just to get past that 14USD treshold.
I've linked my old uplay and origin accounts to the Epic account so even better. My game library is significantly upgraded now.

Is it tax evasion, or are UK customers just being fleeced over and over again, not like this is anything new at all, you could see a item in the US for example is x amount but the tax on top still doesn't equal out correctly, meaning that they actually increase the price for other markets.
You'll see it for one price then when it actually starts being sold in the UK market it's had a huge mark up, just because they can.
Pretty annoying that they'll offer lower prices to other markets to entice them, but they give others the middle finger, even if it is tax evasion, I couldn't care less, a lot bigger fish that should be being fried.
