sorted by"What We Like
- Prices as low as $2.78 for five devices
- Upgrade available to ten devices per subscription
- Dynamic IP addresses are standard
What We Don't Like- Torrenting only available on certain servers
- Based in New York so subject to Five Eyes jurisdiction
- Logs IP addresses, at least temporarily
Bottom Line Need a VPN to watch Netflix? KeepSolid VPN Unlimited can unblock U.S Netflix on Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, Linux, Windows phone or Apple TV devices."
Techradar review:
"Our Verdict
This VPN has great WireGuard speeds and unblocks Netflix with ease, but if you'll regularly hit the five device limit, its painfully inflexible device management system will be a major hassle. There's still a lot to like here, though, so take the trial anyway, and see what you think.
For
- Excellent WireGuard performance
- Unblocks Netflix, iPlayer, Disney+
- Very fast email support
- Bitcoin supported
Against- Some kill switch issues
- Relatively few servers
- Access limited to specified devices
- Didn't unblock Amazon Prime Video for us"
(edited)The VPN makes it look to the outside world (including your own country) as if you are surfing from a completely different location, so you cannot easily be tracked and you can choose services/webpages only available in other countries. You will also be able to access websites which may be blocked by your internet service provider (like pirate sites for instance).
You use it by downloading and installing an app. You run it whenever you want to use the VPN service and then use everything else as normal. Normal browser, email, whatever. It should be transparent to you. Downsides are sometimes it doesn't work well or works a bit slower in which case you can often just stop and start the app or choose a different location.
Not a 100% complete or accurate explanation but probably good enough.
It does.
(can't say if it's on this trial plan, but it is for me on "lifetime")
It looks like folks at NordVPN/NordSecurity/Cyberspace are taking the whole "proxy" idea a little too seriously, albeit in a completely wrong context: now you've got a Lithuanian company, registered in Panama, owned by a Dutch corporation. Wait a second, isn't the Netherlands technically part of the "{random_integer}Eyes Alliance" that every VPN review site claims to be worse than cancer? I guess it doesn't make as much of a difference as SEO marketers will lead you to believe...
Anyone following these two companies closely probably noticed similarities between Nord and Surfshark years ago.

Can a commercial VPN still offer true privacy? (windscribe.com)
Have you tried changing the setting in the app to IKEv2 it may help with your speeds (edited)
Yes. However I've been informed that both deals are for 6 months. StackSocial and Sharewaresale are fine. (edited)
You maybe need to use something like a Revolut card? I used my Halifax Clarity card which can also be used in any currency.
Yes, when it connected you can continue to browse the internet as normal.
What is it you are trying to access with the VPN? If it’s just for security/tracking reasons, you can select a UK location, that way you want be directed to German websites when browsing Google.
You can select a different country if you are trying access content from that country, such as US Netflix. (edited)
I watch HBO Max and S Sports Plus on my Fire TV. You have to run the app, select your server and then usually press the "Home" key with the app still running in the background. You can then run your app of choice for the country you've connected to.
To be fair, I don't think "American" Netflix is that much different from the UK version nowadays.
Well all you do is to run the VPN Unlimited app, start your selected server then press the "Home" key on your remote and then start whatever streaming app you want to use for foreign content.
Bear in mind that Prime Video probably won't work and, as I said, you likely won't see any difference at all in Netflix.
Nope. Stated several times in this thread how and where to enter code, even with pics.
It is a service that allows you to spoof your location. Instead of websites or services knowing that you're in the UK, you can fool them into thinking you're in the US for example.
There is a lot of reasons why you would use this - for torrenting or downloading other copyrighted material, or it's as simple as using it for Netflix, as Netflix show different TV shows and movies based on your location. If you like anime for example, you'd have more variety in Japan (I'd imagine) than you would in the UK.
Personally have had lifetime for around 2 years now. Very powerful VPN considering how cheap it is. It's obviously not the best but great value. Got lifetime plan for around £17. (edited)
It should do, it let me sign up to an Argentinian Tidal account for 70p a month.
Install the VPN service on your router, or if your existing router is pants and cannot accommodate VPN installation, install it on another router that is without pants connected to your router that is pants.
Trouserless VPN-supporting routers start from a few quid via the bay, random semi-recent sold example under £5 delivered archive.is/r3TI2
You only need the VPN to sign up. Once that's done, you can watch the service normally on any device.
Think about that carefully. You have a lifetime subscription. What exactly did you think you'd see by adding an extra 6 months to it ?
Yes, but it actually states in the op where to put it.
I would be happy to reduce my stash of legwear. What setting on what device? Thanks.
Chromecast etc. (edited)
Not sure what you mean by what setting, what device?
I've used it on Firestick for geo unblocking no problem. (edited)
What is the simple setting to configure, and where is it configured. Thanks.
Thank you so much for this detailed reply
So Its like an app I open it and it runs and then I can close the app /minimize and use websites etc like I normally would ?
Seems really straight forward ?
Once you download the app, open it, select which server (country) you want, click the start button and the VPN then loads and runs in the background (you’ll have a little ‘VPN’ logo at the top of the screen). To switch it off, just click the same button again and it’ll switch off. You can set servers as favourites rather than having to scroll through a list.
You don't need to select anything. Just redeem the code and it will be added.
Thanks conker.
Good to know I don't need to keep vpnning to use
Appreciate the answer
Think you've been wooshed
Yeah it’s fine. I can watch HBO Max and the football and don’t have any buffering at all. I haven’t done a full speed test but I’ve never really needed to
I don’t think you really understand VPN’s and what people want them for.
