    Didn't realise Amazon have upped the price of the basic Kindle so much, though.
    The one I bought 4 years ago was £39.99 direct from Amazon (probably Prime Day), but the spec looks hardly different beyond the 2022 model having dark mode. Looking through HUKD, seems you could buy them for £35 in 2022. Now at least double that.

    I see a kindle Paperwhite for £119.99 how does this compare to the one? Any users with views on that?

    Theres the 8GB Paperwhite for £99.99 too if that’s the one you decide to go for.

    I went with the normal kindle because I prefer the smaller size. As far as I recall, the paperwhite has different screen tones so warmer or colder when using the nightlight, it’s slightly bigger and it has better waterproofing. Obviously a slightly bigger screen too.
