Can’t think of a fiction writer they would reference more 🤷‍♀️

This makes me think that if you've read Orwell, you've not understood it.

Genuine and stupid question - will this mean the setup and Amazon store on my Kindle will all be in French?

sossidge

ah ok, forgot about the two aspects, glad you’re on top of it

One of the questions on the trade in is whether the device is funcitonal/screen is damaged, so I think I should be ok (but will only get the £5 voucher rather than £20 - but I'll still get the 20% off too) But that said I should probably do it soon anyway as I've heard it can take a few days for the 20% off promo to be applied and I don't want to miss the next deal. Will have to lookup how long it takes for the 20% off to expire

JL customer service is terrible, wait weeks and weeks for a response and then they don’t answer what you have asked them! Complete waste of time

damn, missed that

Neostar

When you buy these there is an option during checkout to have them unregistered

DiscoBotty

massive pain buying these as gifts. i bought two for my parents a few months back. Ordered from my amazon account but sent to their address and marked as 'gifts' when ordering.. but amazon registered both of them to my kindle account before they arrived so I had to jump through hoops on chat to get them deregistered. v annoying. just leave them alone until someone logs in on them!

musicalbox

Not that I could find. I just left the 3 months on my account obviously cancelled it straight away. My wife tried the 1 month you can get as a trial. In the end she felt it was not worth £7.99 a month

mocmocamoc

Never found the ads even remotely intrusive, just gives suggestions really and not during reading. Went for one of these on wife's account, she has unlimited anyway so kindle works out about 20 quid
