These are the best I've tried. Heinz on the other hand are tasteless and bland - I used to add sugar, salt, butter and black pepper to them just to get some flavour.

Exactly this, Heinz are bland and watery.
Confirmed by the ingredients list, Heinz have less beans and less tomatoes, by deduction means more water.

I like branston beans but they make me fart like crazy.
I used to only eat Heinz but recently my wife has bought the Morrisons beans and I find them just as nice, plus they don't make me trump every 5 minutes.

Disappointing that their low salt alternative is not also same price.

Used to love Branston but I swear the taste has changed over the past year or so. I now objectively prefer Aldi's beans so I've stopped buying these now.

Heinz is another story - I really don't understand what people see in them at all

Heinz and Birds Eye since Covid raised prices astronomically, astounding people still buy their products

Lidl own brand 42/43p. Slightly smaller beans but almost identical in taste

Newgate? I once had a batch of those that gave me terrible wind (which is unusual as I don't normally get wind from beans). They tasted decent though

Only 0.0012 pence per bean. Bargain!

Big bobs beans are a better and cheaper alternative if they're in your local.

5 beans for my toast, that's a lot of toast!

We started using this last year & they are actually very good. I would say even better than the Heinz. Sneakily all these companies have reduced the weight of the content in the tin.

From memory these came top on a Which? comparison last year, with Asda own brand second.

Sainsburys own are 40p. ALDI my second choice.

That salt content is wild and kind of scary.

I get that it’s probably no worse than other brands but it’s really, really bad.
