Is there a way to use Microsoft gift cards that I get with the reward points to buy on the Iceland store?

Not like you have used the code, the game hasn't released yet so ask for a refund. With this being a pre order you probably haven't been charged yet.

For some reason pricing on Icelandic Microsoft store can be a bit flakey. Something to do with decimal place in the wrong place? This transaction (for a different game) on my Monzo almost gave me a heart attack! Thankfully it was declined due to insufficient funds! Went through after at the correct price, thankfully... 49999687-TerIi.jpg

It's going to be £4.27 in a few months, so why bother? The previous Dead Island games were not worth this price, not great level design and very repetitive. I hope this one is better. (edited)

If you don't support the devs we won't get new games because they will all go bust. 🤷‍♂️

I'm going to expire the deal since there's issues with it, don't want anyone else to get affected.

Just done this and it’s flashed up on my Amex at £3,880…. Decimal is certainly in the wrong place, unless they are trying to deter people from doing this. Will see when happens as/when transaction is approved. If it’s not corrected then I’ll cancel and go through CDkeys

Same happened to me with Lloyds, Had one declined for 3,880 and another payment successful which was the right amount.

Payment went through for 5005.85 for the gold edition, they've refunded me what I should have paid not what I did pay and are being a nightmare. Have to wait 5 business days for the money to return, hopefully the bank will be able to help tomorrow. (edited)

Reckon I was lucky that I had previously reduced my credit limit. The £50.18 went through but got a text showing a declined payment.

Looks like some sort of glitch with a second amount at 100 times the correct amount.
Now waiting on new credit card as not taking the chance to unblock in case retry on payment attempted.

Hey guys I have just done this with Revolut thanks to seeing the issues faced on this post first transaction decline for £5k second declined for £50 but I went on to Revolut to say this was ok and then it went through fete trying to purchase again. If you do this I would suggest using a card that only has around £51 on to make sure you are not charged more than you should be hope this may help someone (edited)
