Glue that binds each telescopic section gave way on mine and made it useless. Didn’t last long.

Bit of silicone to seal?

These sound great but are dreadful.
You’ve got the weight of a fully filled hose full of water connected to the end which makes it extremely heavy, especially when extended. The plastic connector will break. It’ll leak before it breaks, no matter what connector you use. Water leaks out of every connection once extended. Complete waste of time, money, energy and patience.
I’ve even tried the more expensive line to head fed water brush poles. Same cheap (expensive) plastic rubbish that leaks water everywhere and broken parts with the slightest of touches.
I’m all for doing things myself and not paying others to do things I can do myself, however much the effort, but these are complete rubbish.
The only viable option is the portable battery powered micro line window cleaning brush systems that your window cleaner charges you £20 a pop for. They cost £400 though. I’ve tried so many water fed brushes in the interests of DIY, and I’ve admitted defeat. I’m paying the window cleaner £20 four times a year.
To be honest, doing the insides of the glass is the straw that breaks the camels back after getting wet through doing the outside and not being satisfied with the result vs effort.
Give yourself a break. Give this crap a miss and give the local chap £20 four times a year. He uses deionised water too (not hose tap water) so streaking is far less.
if you’ve found a better system that genuinely works please let me know!
