Good set of speakers but this one seems to be much better as it is HI-RES certified. So I cancelled the initial order and got these instead for my birthday.
Only HMV has a similar price.
Fencom says the Bluetooth version is 4.0 but on the Edifier website it says it is 5.0 (which might be the case for the newer batch) so I'll wait for mine to arrive and I'll let you know which one I got.
£188.10 final price with free shipping as there is a 10% discount applied to all orders. You can add 2 day shipping for £2.99.
I had this. If you like a bit of extra bass, then these aren't for you. I refunded these and ended up with the s2000db instead and they are sound amazing.
I'm totally fine without the extra bass to be honest. I understand why many people need it.
These would have been amazing if they had an option to add a subwoofer but unfortunately we can't have it all.

Could these be linked to samsung soundbar please anyone
fishmaster
A Samsung soundbar will have 2 inputs Bluetooth and Optical. As the soundbar is designed to output audio it would be looking for a Bluetooth input or Optical inputs. These speakers will be also looking for an input. So you can't connect two inputs to each other.
So IF you're using Bluetooth to source audio to the Samsung then you need to see if that Bluetooth source can multistream the Bluetooth audio i.e. be able to connect to more than one Bluetooth device and therefore output audio to more than one device. (edited)

Horses for courses and these arent HI-RES and dont have all the different inputs but I think for my music tastes Id rather go this deal especially if you already have a DAC
@ChrisAG nice first deal, hope these exceed your expectations!

I was thinking about them but I don't have enough space in this flat for a subwoofer.
I can barely fit the ones I bought (without a subwoofer) without my partner m*rdering me. But it truly seems like a great deal.
And thank you for the nice words! (edited)

You might want to update the sound driver on a laptop with Edifier one if you're connected via USB (edited)

Will do as soon as I plug them in! Thanks for the tip!

looks a bit much for a 88w speaker? I remember getting the R2750db from amazon warehouse deal for somewhat the same price

These speakers are half the size of the R2750DB and they're hi-res too. So it all depends on what you're after.

Update: Received them today, they sound amazing, the bass is enough for me. Definitely worth their money!

I read online they weight 7.5kg, I imagine that each one of them is half that, right?

Have these ones. Decent sound for the price

I just bought them today, saw some reviews on YT, seemed pretty decent for the price. I have a DAC and an amp connected to my laptop. I wanna try all kinds of combinations as these are active and I don't know how they will all sound together.

I got these a couple of years back but got rid of them after a year. They're nice enough as desktop monitors but really lack bass.

Unfortunately I don't have enough space in this flat for a subwoofer, otherwise I would have gotten the Edifier deal with that sub. But I'm ok for now with these!
