People still seem to have this old-fashioned mindset that a 'free book' is an amazing deal and technological marvel, regardless of the content.
On the very rare occasion that an ebook that not yet out of copyright, and from an actual publisher, is free - then that's a good deal.
I also suspect some prolific HUKD posters of free kindle deals use bots to upvote and comment on their deals. Every new deal they post you'll see the same users commenting the same thing, very suspicious. Why they'd bother, I have no idea!
