Said this in another thread recently, but I avoided this game after the initial release reviews panned it. Then 18 months ago it was a PS+ monthly game so I decided to give it a go. All these months later I'm 800 hours in, still playing it, still loving it. You can play it how you like. You don't have to "team up" with anyone if you don't want to, they'll just be in the world, but with it being an MMO when they drop by to visit your camp etc, it's great. Played many online MMO's over the years but have to say that F76 has the best community I've played with. So many story missions, so much to do and collect. So many little secrets to find. I'll be playing it for some time to come still. And no, I have no connection with Bethesda

Genuinely good game now, I'm a early accesser nearly 6 years back and the strides they've made since launch is incredible

I acc enjoyed the game at launch, but stopped playing bc I was only level ≈25 and couldn’t kill the dragon thing (for the BoS beacon main quest) and they nerfed melee. Picked it up a few years ago again - when the heist dlc came out - and managed to complete it but became stuck on the nuke launch mission bc couldn’t find the broken pipes :/

Is this the membership to be able to play the game single player?

Yes, but only if you actually pay for it, the free trial doesn't include private worlds

No thank you Bethesda, just get the F4 patch out next week then get back to making ES6. Lol (edited)

Different Team. A small third Bethesda development team supposedly continues to support Fallout 76. With Double Eleven dealing with major new Fallout 76 content, and two other independent developers dealing with cosmetic financial material. Unfortunately with Microsoft's Zenimax acquisition a round of redundancies have recently occurred.

can I start on steam and later continue on gamepass?

Technically two different versions. So no. Try Fallout 76 out, if you find the game is enjoyable it is possible to purchase the PC or XBox version for a few pounds. (edited)

I gave it a quick bash but now I'm just replaying Fallout 3 instead, 76 doesn't scratch the RPG itch

Do any of the claimed perks remain available after the trial period?

I have a Fallout 76 for PC code from Amazon Prime (can only be activated on Microsoft Store). I tried it for myself but I had the game already. Please activate it only if you can make use of it:
