Just to note that packs are only 227g. Equivalent to £1.41 for a 250g pack. Most places now have butter at £1.69. So still a good deal, but less worth the journey that it used to be. Home bargains has 250g packs of butter at £1.49.

If you are over 60 then the Iceland 10% off on Tuesday makes 3 250g packs for £4.50, or £1.50 each.

And if you are really keen you can shave a bit more off the Iceland price by loading your Bonus card and collecting the extra £1 for each £20 loaded, and paying for the butter with that.

Just as an FYI, other people might get it too, but I was offered Sainsbury's Butter 250g packs for £1.26 the other day on my nectar prices (through the app).

I can see a flora plant based butter at £1.25.

Since farmfoods put their prices up they're not the value they used to be and they don't do the £2 off £25 spend anymore so i don't shop there as much as before. I can never buy enough items to reach the £5 off £60. I know many other people who also no longer shop there and have gone to Aldi or Lidl.

I stick to the big four.

Farmfoods have added a new voucher I guess to replace the old £2 off £25.

Always buy my butter from farmfoods as only a five minute walk from the house. For a long time they were doing it for 99p but as with everything its gone up but still great value.

And in between it went higher than £1.29 bonzobanana...but it has settled at £1.29 for some time now.

My local FarmFoods is about a minutes walk from my work place.

Wow it seems only a short while ago it went from £1.29 to £1.49 and that was a huge jump. It was cheap butter really that meant I would go into Farmfoods as I walked past and would often pick up a fair few extra items. I guess like Iceland they are more affected by energy costs because of all their freezers. Like Iceland they have far too much branded goods, you can't buy cereal in there as pretty much all expensive big brands rather than their own shop brands. I'm not convinced the people that go into Farmfoods typically want to pay £3-4 for a box of Kellogg's Cornflakes etc, I certainly know I don't.
