Enhanced performance and portability
Vibrant, fast and responsive
Enjoy an 8-inch HD display, now with screen made of strengthened aluminosilicate glass. Includes enhanced hexa-core processor for more responsive performance (30% more than previous generation).

Great for on the go
Up to 13-hour battery life so you can stream content and download videos, music and books all day. Choose from 32 GB or 64 GB (add up to 1 TB of expandable storage with microSD card). Fire HD 8 is now thinner and lighter (compared to previous generation). Includes USB-C for easy charging. As measured in tumble tests, Fire HD 8 is twice as durable as Apple iPad mini (2021).

Watch. Play. Listen. Read. Connect.
Made for entertainment
Perfect for unwinding: stream or download your favourite series and films from BBC iPlayer, Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, NOW and others (separate subscriptions may be required). Listen via built-in speakers or connect using Bluetooth or the headphone jack.

More ways to enjoy your Fire HD 8 tablet
Split screen helps you do more with ease, so you can send an e-mail while joining a Zoom call, or look up a recipe while watching your favourite programme on Prime Video. Use screen mirroring to project films, series, web browser, apps, photos, music and more on your Miracast compatible devices.

Have fun exploring your favourites
Curl up with an ebook, get social with apps like Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, discover new films or find your next favourite series on BBC iPlayer, Netflix, Disney+, NOW and more available through the Amazon Appstore (subscription for some apps required).

Do more with Alexa
Hands free
Ask Alexa to play videos and music, open apps, shop online, check the weather, call or message friends and family (UK residential and mobile numbers from the UK only), access compatible smart home devices and more.

Your privacy is important
Alexa and Fire HD 8 are designed to protect your privacy. For example, you can view and delete your voice recordings or use the Alexa Hands-free mode on/off toggle at any time.

had a few of these, they are dirt cheap, great for kids, but if you are wanting to use it as your tablet everyday, give it 6-9 months and it will have ground to a halt...

There is a reason why they are this price ... but again, like i said, ok for a 2nd tablet or for kids....

Brought mine 3 years ago and my son is still using it with no issues. And I brought mine for £26.99 when it was on offer so it's been one of the best purchases I made.

Anyone know why all these Fire products are dropping in price the day BEFORE Prime Day??? Very strange marketing.

Questioning the marketing strategy of a multi billionaire who does the same thing twice every year and has done for years

I bought one of these 6 months ago but find it very frustrating to use. It feels really lethargic and I wouldn't recommend it. Save up and get a tablet with more RAM and a better processor

These are great for kids, battery lasts ages, with other brands after 2 years they are good to recycle but these still hold charge for a whole day.
Install google play and you're good to go.
