    Can I ask, what games do you go to for terrific voice acting? I can think of a handful that genuinely stand out, but all the rest (like 90%) fall into the category of "its fine", which is exactly where this goes.
    Or are you just complaining about that one duff 30 second segment, that was ridiculed online as if its the entire game like that?

    Play the demo - See how quickly you get bored and if not then perhaps you’ll be the target audience. I personally thought it was mediocre from the demo and then heard it went downhill from there.

    I quite enjoyed this - paid about £15 I think. If you ignore all the side quests and stick with the main story, you’re in for a good adventure game with a good story. And you can switch all the chitter chatter off.

    Are the side quests so bad that they would negatively impact your gameplay joy?

    Good to know the chatter can be reduced- I watched someone playing this and it was literally non-stop waffle. (edited)

    Great game,fantastic story,great voice acting,graphics and gameplay mechanics,extremely underrated and review bombed just because people don't like black women as main characters in games

    I mean...there are some legit gripes pointed at it (some of which have been addressed in patches). And yeah, there are probably going to be a few clowns who won't like it for the reason you mentioned above.

    I still bought it on release and had a blast with it though.

    It's a decent game. People wrote the game off as "woke". I can't think why.

    The demo didn't help much sell the gameplay. Which was better in-game.
