Heat from Newcastle fan.

Obvious this wouldnt be on freeview as they are targeting people that may watch and subscribe, no chance of the **** doing that.

Sky Sports 1 and 2 are on freeview now though, you can subscribe to them individually if you want.

Does anyone know if this will work via Sky Player?

Never ceases to amaze me the number of people who don't read the original post!

Good news. Will be able to watch two La Liga matches in HD on Virgin!

Great news will be able to watch The Co-Operative Championship Grand Final, just need to decide who I want to win now, Fax or Fev.

This isn' a deal. It's a Freebie for existing customers.

heat from a villa fan, and i can test out my new HD box too.
thanks op

what a CROCK

Thanks op

I take it this is FTV rather than FTA then? In which case, not open to Freesat viewers. I've got sky sports hd so happy enough but would be good if my dad could use his old sky box for the wolves game. Think his old sub card has died though so doubt it.

Knew about this for about a month (thought it was already posted plus it was stuck in the tv guide that they give out) you will have to sub to at least one mix to get the skysports free day.

Excellent thanks

This has been posted before and it is only for sky subscribers according to the sky magazine.

does anyone actually get a sky magazine anymore? i dont. been with them about 6 months now

Had to laugh, why are some people so incapable of reading a few lines. I have to congratulate you nicster08 on your calm responses.

Cheers for the heads up.

Northbank!!!!........ why would you sit in the southbank?

Nice post, I wasn't aware. It will be interesting to see SS1 and SS2 in HD and compare them to ESPN.

Nice one, free fitba' is never a bad thing (even if it does mean watching Rangers deploy wattenaccio against Aberdeen)

Same here. We used to receive the mag a few years ago then we went with Virgin for a while and came back to Sky about 6 months ago. Haven't received the mag yet since coming back but trust me neither of us are missing much which is why I haven't bothered complaining about it!

Remember if you have Sky+, and presuming the new white cards work the same way as the old blue ones did, if you start recording a few programmes on Sky Sports between now and when the free trial begins even though all you might get is a blue screen on those channels at the moment come the day of the free trial the programmes you've recorded will unscramble and become watchable for the duration of the day!
