This is a great price. This holiday park is near enough to my house to go and get anything I'd forgotten and far enough away to be a holiday. I stayed there 3 years ago with my son and a friend of his and parents booked the caravan next to us. He had a great time fishing with his friend and generally being boys while I have drinks nearly every evening with his freinds parents and chilled out the rest of the time. Caravan holidays like this are very under rated.

Thanks OP for posting the deal. We booked for our wedding anniversary week so it's a bargain break for us both. Never been to this site before but we are looking forward to using it as a base and enjoying days out and about.

Suffolk has some great sight seeing. There is teh Suffolk Riviera of Woodbridge and Orford further up. There are the Dickensian Seaside towns like Thorpeness and Aldeburgh. This Park is slap bang in the middle of all that. There is also the ruins of Framlingham Castle etc worth a visit.

Also, Suffolk is very "dog freindly". Most pubs allow dogs in.

Make sure to visit Sutton Hoo. This is the oldest and biggest Saxon Treasure find anywhere and there was even a film made about it called "The Dig".

£148 with a £40 food and drink voucher in your welcome park if you book through Park Holidays for 26th of June, 10th of July is cheaper still £129 with £40 voucher (if you only been 2 bedrooms), or the same price (with voucher) as 26th of June for the 3 bedroom gold plus caravan.

Now staying at the Carlton Meres Holiday camp in the gold+ caravan from this offer deal.

On entering the van we had cobwebs located on the lounge ceiling, dirt between the settee and fridge, a welcome toe nail clipping on the dining seat cushion, the shower and shower towel rail was filthy, the shower rail hanging on by a thread, and we had to bleach and clean both the toilets before using and also the kitchen sink which was stained and had to be cleaned also before use.

The main bedroom has a crack in the wall over the headboard and has been repaired with an eight inch square piece of wallpaper which is peeled at the edges.... a proper patch if ever I saw one.

We've stayed at Haven caravan sites and we have never had a dirty van like this one. WE WOULD RATE THE CARAVAN minus1 out of 10!

I'm glad we didn't pay top price otherwise we would have felt we had been robbed. Although £50 for four nights would have been an overprice on it's state.

Hence to say we will never ever book again on a Parks caravan site. The only good thing about the site itself is that's it's quiet and kept tidy (shame they don't put the same effort into the caravan cleanliness and maintenance).

We've been going out every day so luckily we're not spending a lot of time inside the van. We are now looking forward to staying at Haven in the Lake District next month to recover from this SHOCKER! (edited)
