Looks like regular nano tape to me at an inflated price because it has 'Gorilla' printed on the packaging.

Get a 3 meter roll for the same price -
    amazon.co.uk/Dou…=8-

Even cheaper on ebay, 5m roll for £4 -
    ebay.co.uk/itm…009

You can probably find even cheaper if you look around. I've got 3m rolls for 99p a couple of times.

A lot of poor reviews on both products are from people that don't understand you can't use this stuff on textured surfaces.
Stick it on anything smooth and shiny and getting it off again is not easy.
I stuck a 100x100mm 1mm thick piece of mild steel to a smooth surface, bent the steel sheet almost in half trying to pull it off again.

I really love the reviews from people that stuck it on painted walls then complained that it pulled the paint off the walls. Yep, this stuff will to that, it's supidly strong and sticky, hence the reason they advise people NOT to use it on painted walls, lol. (edited)

I've been looking for some really strong VBH tape and have previously seen these clear alternatives to the Gorilla Tape but I don't think they're the same.

The cheap no brand tapes all say it's re-useable, by removing and washing (leading me to believe it's some kind of cheap silicon) but the Gorilla tape states 'Permanent'

The Gorilla tape also states it can be used on uneven surfaces but the cheap alternative says 'The Nano grip tape will stick to almost any smooth, clean and non-porous surface'

Also this doesn't inspire much confidence 't may be not very sticky when you paste it on the surface, please paste the tape and exposure to air for several hours, it will become more and more sticky. 24 hours is recommanded if you need very strong sticky.'

I've tried it for a few automotive purposes (mounting interior lights, phone holder, Echo Auto) but found that it didn't work for very long. Everything would initially stick very well but over the course of a few days would come unstuck, especially if working against gravity

I was about to ask if I can use this for number plates ... I'll give it a miss

Could I use this to pull the wood back into place on a hollow core door that’s been punched in?

It would probably pull it out, in fact you'd have to be careful not to rip the wood off completely as these nano tapes are stupidly strong.
