Bloody illegal in Scotland at that price

I drank 6 bottles of this at a market in Singapore about 15 years ago thinking it was just normal Guinness then half way through my 7th bottle I noticed it was 7.5%. Needless to say I spent all the next day in bed so never again for me. By the way it tastes great though

A great drink at a great price. Normally around £1.90 for the 330ml bottles @ ASDA.

This is a seriously wonderful brew in which to slow-cook brisket or Ox-cheek.

(and for drinking too, of course!)

You have not experienced Guineas until you have drunk the original Nigerian export 😁.

Amazing gear, absolute looney juice though

The real deal. It shows they can brew when they want to.
Beautiful stout. The molasses make it. An imperial stout in every way.

Yup there is no craft stout that has come even close to this for me

    27th April 2023 expiry...
My local has 16 bottles in, but all expired.
However, I'm sure a few days past the expiry makes no difference at all!

I'm sure a few weeks past will make little difference

That's a great deal. Excellent beer at an amazing price!
If my nearest HB had some I would clear the shelf. Sadly, I'm without car for a while

    Feel some warmth OP.

My hubby also drank a good few bottles of the foreign Guinness at 7. 5 % on a cruise about 10 years ago without realising it was that strength. He went down to the dining room very merry

This is fantastic stuff. Tonnes of flavour.

Grrrr, none at all in the Filton store, not even full price

Is the imported stuff from Nigeria the same as the other foreign import from Ireland? Both 7.5%. I can get the Ireland version from B&Ms but can't find the IMPORTED Nigerian stuff anywhere.
    cbates60's avatar
Not the same no. Asda and Tesco can have stock of the Nigerian version if you can’t find it in Home Bargains. It’s usually in the world food isle as apposed to the actual beer isle.
