I know all belts are not the same but i have bought a couple of Faux leather belts and the plastic outer cracked up and broke at the point where you thread the buckle and was only useable for half a dozen wears. Im afraid with this kind of product it is a case of buy cheap buy twice.

I am a very mean man but I always buy leather belts, anything else disintegrates in weeks. (Apologies to any cows who may be upset by reading this)

Yes, it's fake "leather" - i think the PU stands for Polyurethane.
