It may not compete on price - but i recommend the following paper packaging tape if you want to avoid plastic tape and get something more sustainable. It works just as well and you don't have to worry about seperateing all the tape when you want to recycle your packaging.

Sounds ideal for environmentally conscious people that send packages to themselves

    52585502-RD1Rt.jpgRight - this size / 'standard' roll.
Left - 150m. It's just soooooo more satisfying to wield.

A certain well known auction site.

I got 12 for £14.89, looks like they went up a bit since.
    It's not a recommendation, just a link! 😋 (edited)

Has anyone on here used this tape before? if so how do you find the performance.

Pretty standard, and doesn't fall apart at least

Low noise is all well and good but what we really want to know is how sticky the tape is on the universally recognised scale of "like shit to a blanket". (edited)

Got to be careful . I have in my possession brown tape that scores 0 on the S O A B. Scale. But high on noise!!

"Low noise" how are you supposed to annoy everybody?

I bought 6 brown tape from a wholesale less than £3 and it does the job…

Duct tape is better if you want to stay undetected. I think.

Pretty standard price on the old auction site, cheaper again if you buy more rolls

Any deals for transparent ones? My experience with the brown one is that it does not stick to the cardboard boxes. Thanks.

I've found going round the box (if applicable) is best, tape generally sticks to itself really well.

This tape is really bad, doesn't stay stuck , starts lifting after a few hours. I would have returned , if Amazon didn't offer a returnless refund. (edited)

As mentioned above. I find going round the box, item, package, whatever it is works best for me. Tape generally sticks nicely to itself. I'm my (admittedly limited) experience of tapes I've found that works for me
