These were great many years ago when made in France. They are now made in India and the quality has suffered significantly for it.

I remember as a school kid in West Brom if you had a Parker jotter pen other kids would say "Steve's Discount £1.99"

Obviously Steve went on to much bigger things after that when he started a chain of stores that sold everything for a pound...

If you do a lot of note taking at work, then a decent pen is worth a few quid. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of these ones though.

The quality of these Parkers has declined over the years. The quality of the materials used certainly has.

The safety cap wasn't introduced until the 1990s so the first two are innacurate. These are the important matters I spend my time on.

I use a zebra metal pen for notes, very well made, looks good, and sturdy, a good pen if you don't want to use a disposable. Around £8.
