Product details
Filters light and reduces reflections on TV and computer screens.

The blind comes pre-paired with the remote control and the signal repeater.

For the blinds wireless functions to work, the signal repeater (included in the package) needs to be plugged in to a power socket within 10 meters from the blind.

You can control your blinds wirelessly to adapt the light or create privacy depending on the activity taking place in the room.

The blind is cordless for increased child safety.

BRAUNIT battery pack is the power source to your wireless roller blind.

No need to change fittings or drill new holes if you change your blinds. The wall/ceiling brackets included in the package are suitable for TRETUR, FYRTUR and KADRILJ roller blinds

By connecting this product to DIRIGERA hub, you get more out of it and can also control it, together with other smart products, in the IKEA Home smart app.

Cold, you need to buy the battery separately which is £19. Battery should be included but as with so much at IKEA (slats for their beds for a start) the product is useless unless you buy another part.

Says in the product description it comes with the battery?

“Included: 1 battery for remote control, 1 rechargeable battery pack, 1 charger battery pack and 1 signal repeater.”

Can't be cut to size unfortunately

Folk have both cut them and extended them, but it's not a quick job.

Was ready to drive to my local ikea but realised it's the sheer fabric and not block out. Hopefully they'll reduce those also in time

Are you referring to the same electric blinds model? It says can't be cut in the description

Someone with a 60cm window. The other sizes are also reduced.

IKEA will be replacing both the KADRILJ and FYRTUR blinds with newer (hopefully better) versions in 2024

What are the downsides to the current ones would you say?

Any idea how sheer it is? Can you see into the room at night if a light is on?

I have the blackout version and that’s great (both the blind and mechanism)

Surely the pictures on the website show how see-through these are?

Anyone using this with smarthings hub by any chance? Want to avoid getting the idea hub if possible

Voted hot. I use Aqara roller blind motors which can be used on existing blinds. But more expensive, but more flexible with blind colours. So nice having them auto open and close based on sunrise / sunset, or voice command. If you have 3 blinds in your house that you open and shut ever year, that's over 2000 times a year you don't have to pull a cord 😁

Yep, FYRTUR is the one you want. These are so see through they're somewhat pointless and probably why they're being firesaled.

Has anyone seen these these in a semi-horizontal config? Thinking these would/could help as screening for a sloped conservatory roof, as i've got 60cm between panes.

I have two on one window - which gives me flexibility as to how much light I have in the room and where I am. Yes I cut them down to size (didn't find it too bad) and yes they work with Home Assistant.

    They are good..

The connection of these to the app and the remotes is horribly clunky. The remotes connect via another device - not at all slick.

Agreed I picked up two from the Sheffield branch at the weekend. Took 4 attempts to pair the remotes to the Tradfri Hub.
