From the limited I’ve learnt in the last few weeks getting up to speed with PC specs the 5600G is going to slow the PCEI 4 slot down even though it has a 550 MB. As highlighted if your planning on installing a GPU it’s strange choosing to have a IGPU on the processor so go with the 5600 or 5600x ?
I guess it’s cost at the moment the 5600g is cheaper.

I’ve priced up a 5600 with RX6700XT (30% faster) and 550 Wi-Fi MB, 1TB NVME ssd for £750 self built. About £50 less if you don’t want WiFi or BT on the board. (edited)

It slows gen 4 down to gen 3. I can attest that I used a rtx 3070 in a gen 3 slot and now in a gen 4 slot and it made zero difference in benchmarks such as 3d mark. I can therefore state, for this machine it won't be an issue.

Too expensive. You can spec the one from the below deal to include a Samsung 980 500GB NVME SSD and a 12GB RTX 3060 for under £600.

Don't forget, you can run dual graphics on this using the 5600g Radeon onboard graphics, it doesn't have to be Ryzen apu with a Ryzen GPU, Nvidia gpu's work just as well with duel graphic setup, I have a 5700g running nicely with an RTX2600 with no issues.

What do you mean "run dual graphics"? How is that useful? (edited)

Box were selling this last month for £649.
Strange to me that they obviously didn’t sell out, and have increased the price.

May be they need to increase the price for few weeks to make if 'on sale' later?

Ive just built a pc using this CPU and no GPU for £650 albeit, my parts are more expensive due to form factor and better specced. Using this CPU with this GPU doesn't fit, odd choice. Reasonable price for what you get I guess. (edited)

Very poor value considering you can get 5600x with 3060ti for a bit less. Not to mention Lenovo's proprietary mobo etc. hotukdeals.com/sha…868
