I just snagged myself a copy for PS5 myself, beats next cheapest by a few quid.

Note:
The RRP for this is £69.99, I have no idea why it is going for this cheap but I'm certainly not complaining!

Product description
You wake up at an abandoned train station in Krat, a city overwhelmed by madness and bloodlust. In front of you lies a single note that reads:

"Find Mr. Geppetto. He's here in the city."

Play as Pinocchio, a puppet mechanoid, and fight through everything in your path to find this mystery person. But don't expect any help along the way and don't make the mistake of trusting anyone.

You must always lie to others if you hope to become human.

Inspired by the familiar story of Pinocchio, Lies of P is an action souls-like game set in a cruel, dark Belle Époque world.

All of humanity is lost in a once beautiful city that has now become a living hell filled with unspeakable horrors.
Lies of P offers an elegant world filled with tension, a deep combat system, and a gripping story.
Guide Pinocchio and experience his unrelenting journey to become human.

I would have bought this if it wasn't on gamepass. So many games I refuse to buy incase they go to gamepass/pspass.

It instantly devalues the game. Happened to Wo Long and it went to the bargain bin quickly. I'll keep my money for Baldurs gate 3

Demo was pants. Slow paced combat, few enemies, no music and dodge mechanic was flawed.

The demo was widely praised, what are you talking about? People who say the dodge mechanic was flawed just didn't get to the part of the story where it changes... (edited)

Unfortunately it's a souls-like game, so big no from me - would have loved to play a twisted version of this classic story (I'm from Tuscany where Pinocchio was originally written). Heat for the price tho...

please don't let the souls like part stop you, it's on game pass so if you have a pc or xbox at least give it an hour or two, you may be pleasently surprised!

    Looking forward to this game

Didn't rate the demo at all (2 run throughs of it) - the graphics were lovely but felt like the dodge was useless and the telegraphing of attacks was very poor for a lot of enemies making the perfect parry mechanic hard to adjust to (compare it to Sekiro and you will know what I mean).
Apparently the team was taking the feedback from players on board so hopefully it is more polished on release. I feel Ill wait til it hits the £20 mark though, after Mortal Shell I'll always be wary of other Soulslikes

Mortal shell was a brilliant game

Good price, but it's a Single player one and done title, £40 for retail, £50 for digital or play it on Gamepass day 1, I think I will go with Gamepass.

Quite enjoyed the demo. Perfect parrying didn't quite click with me. So had to dodge like crazy instead
