Fantastic as a work light, limited as a torch as the beam doesn't 'throw' very far. But I guarantee that you will loose it in a ceiling void or under a Cuboard when you use the strong magnet to stick it up, finish the job & close up....

Do you use Eneloop batteries by any chance, have heard of these having trouble with some rechargables in regards to fitting.

Decent torches. I paid a fiver from homebase a while ago and use the Hiquick rechargeable AA’s from Amazon.

The big Larry 2 is often on offer for an extra quid or so ... Far more flexible and has a "proper" torch on the end !

I got an amazon own brand aa rechargeable stuck in mine, be careful of using rechargeables it's very narrow at the top. Otherwise I have 3 so I guess I like it a lot (edited)
