info added by wadz

  • An effective alternative to traditional aluminium ladders, simple and comfortable.
  • From decorating the house to repairing the garden and giving the house a new look all around.
  • Safe and sturdy design.
  • *Note: extra safety measures must be in place to maintain balance and stability when using the first three steps of the ladder.

Anti-slip foot rubber
Indoor use protects the floor and the top pattern increases friction and improves stability.

Multi-stage independent switching
Experimentally proven to give better stability than a single lock at the bottom, and can be extended to multiple heights to flexibly match work requirements.

Safe extension
The extension of the overlapping sections of the ladder to 16 cm effectively increases the pressure-bearing connection between the sections, ensuring a stable stand.

  • A ladder that is light enough.
  • A ladder that can be extended to different heights.
  • A ladder that is quick to operate and easy to store after work.
  • A versatile ladder that can be used for indoor and outdoor work as well as in the professional field.

The building quality of these varies massively between different manufacturers despite looking similar; I also suggest that QC and regulations may not be as high as branded sets.

They're really good - great for space-saving, and as a tradesman, it's all I carry (a 5.2m version), which saves having to have a roof rack or losing space in the van; but I would strongly suggest getting one from Screwfix or Toolstation and not putting your faith in a generic branded version

These are really good. I've had mine about 5 years - no problems.

Be careful when collapsing, though.... make sure your hands are clear of the rungs......trust me, you'll only make that mistake once

and make sure all the clips engage when extending the ladder

I'm just a little under 29st, my gf is not so heavy she is only about 22 - 23st would these be ok? (edited)

I'm sure this is a joke, but if it's not, no. This terrible quality ladder will collapse on the first attempt either of you make to use it

Or pick one up for free from the surplus stock at Aintree.

I'm not convinced this product will meet British safety standards (correct me if I'm wrong). Considering it can literally be life or death I would stick to a quality brand like Werner. I have a 3.8m telescopic ladder from them, it wasn't cheap approx £150 but it feels more solid than cheap sectional ladders I've climbed. (edited)

Do you have a link for that one please?

My builder told me to never use one as he had seen too many accidents with this style of ladder over the years.

May have got better design over years and possibly not used properly so make of that what you will.

I had the 'pleasure' of using one of these at a friend's house as its all they had available. Accessing the lights in rooms with big vaulted ceilings. Never felt safe and I've done plenty of sketchy jobs.

Check the YouTube videos to see what happens to a cheap set of telescopic ladders under stress. Amazing how many collapsed in the middle. Not something I would cut corners with

I've got some of these. Fantastic idea and use them all the time.

I've absolutely no head for heights but got one of these types way back - soft closing
so no trapped fingers - was going to be be for occasional loft access but felt really unsuitable so eventually fitted a proper loft ladder.
I also find the thin and small surface area steps of these types really uncomfortable - and I have small feet. (edited)

There might be a few of these left near the Aintree perimeter fence if you're nearby, failing that check Merseyside Police auctions in the next few months, only used once.

These are really good, however 2.6m will be very limiting. I've got the 3.8m set and I find myself regularly wishing they were taller, can't imagine where I would use these over a pair of step ladders honestly.

Don't leave out in the rain.............they will not fold after. At least my doesn't without a lot of effort

I had one a 3.8m one of these, it cracked in half after I fell from the top and broke my arm.

Nothing to do with the quality of the ladder, I was just an idiot and didnt secure it properly.

    Great product though highly recommend.

My partner Mr plumber uses one but I think it was three times the price. Unsure quality but the idea is brilliant as they fit easily into van or car
