Updated with a 7" OLED touchscreen, 64GB of storage, thinner bezels, and enhanced audio, the newest member of the Nintendo Switch family continues to deliver the flexibility to play your favourite titles at home or on the go. This Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom edition features design inspiration from the upcoming game (sold separately).

Switch it up - 3 ways to play

TV mode - connect the Switch to your TV, like an ordinary console, and use the controllers to play all your favourite titles alone or with friends while you relax on the sofaTabletop mode - prop the console anywhere and use its built-in screen and detachable Joy-Con controllers to have fun on any flat surface.Handheld mode - attach the Joy-Cons to the sides of the tablet console to create a completely portable gamer. You can also remove the Joy-Cons for 2 players to get involved.
OLED screen
The vivid colours and high contrast of the new 7" OLED touchscreen deliver a rich handheld and tabletop gaming experience, bringing games to life whether you're racing at top speed or squaring off against enemies.

Battery life
You can play while you charge your device using the included AC adapter, but other USB Type-C chargers should work as well. The device can last approximately 4.5 and 9 hours on one charge, but this depends on the games you play and the number of gamers involved. For example, the battery will last around 5.5 hours for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

What's in the box?

  • Nintendo Switch Console
  • 2 Joy-Con controllers
  • Nintendo Switch dock
  • Joy-Con grip
  • AC adapter
  • HDMI cable
  • Joy-Con straps

Wi-Fi connection
The device can connect with other devices via Wi-Fi to explore multi-player gaming sessions. You can connect up to 8 Switch devices for local wireless multi-player.

BE WARNED. john lewis just scammed me out of £200 nintendo switch lite. i ordered two and only one arrived and box was taped up on one side. they claim that everything was sent out and courier says everything was "fine". so no refund or replacement for missing item. very disapointed at john lewis customer services... the box they sent it in was not well design to secure its contents and has john lewis branding all over it. Don't just roll over and accept this. Persue it. It's not at all your fault. It's up to John Lewis to sort out the problem. They need to investigate it themselves. You are due what you paid for or a refund. (edited)

I was really tempted to upgrade my Switch for this version (as I wanted the game and the graphics are better with the new version) but then it turns out this doesn't come with the game itself... disappointing.

But still a good price for the new Switch.

The graphics aren't better on an OLED Switch, it just has a larger screen with better colour accuracy.

Tempting, but I feel like we're due a new switch, and I've gone this long without one, I might as well wait.

I caved in never had a switch and just fancied one lol. It won't be until after march next year until they announce it. So maybe end of 2024 release? Still got plenty of life in this one.

Nice thanks. I was wanting to order a switch OLED and switch lite which came to £510… using MYSAVE50 brings it down to £460 cheers 🥂 (edited)

Says this promotion is not applicable on this item for me. Maybe they stopped it on this?
