About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
I was looking for something to use a £20 voucher code from Very and found the new Super Smash Pro Controller. I was planning to pre-order the game, but noticed that this is in stock now. The controller seems to be £5 cheaper than RRP.
I am not sure if this is displayed as 'in stock' in error as it seems to be a pre-order items elsewhere?

sorted byDirection pad??????
Who uses one of them, are you a time traveller from the 80’s?
Newsflash.....Donald Trump, the current Playboy rich guy, becomes President of the United States in a few years. Put that on as a bet, with the winnings, you will be able to buy yourself something called a Playstation 4 in a few years time.....it comes with some crazy nonsense called analogue sticks.
You are welcome my friend!
Alot of games use the D-Pad, but yes, I use it for fighting games
Nintendo are an innovative organisation, they would do away with the Dpad if it had no use they designed it after all. I thought I should also mention the analogue stick made it's credible debut on the N64 controller
knowing my luck - they'll end up shipping out the standard pro controller in error....
Directional pad.
And nobody really knows, until they get inside one
I have been informed that it is being delivered tomorrow (which I am suspicious of), so I will hopefully let you know.
8bitdo SF30 Pro has an almost perfect copy of the orignal SNES d-pad, if that's any good? They have a new version with long grips due soon.
The longer grips version is the SN30 Pro+

Or buy the 2.4Ghz adaptor and use a PS4/Xbox pad instead?
I avoided the other as a few mentioned it!!
It just accepted my £20 discount code with no issue. (edited)
Very nice Do let us know! (I won't hold my breath and don't have the issues that others find as I am garbage at fighting games, apart from Smash, which is analogue at least).
Ordered Myself with delivery due for tomorrow....
Hopefully the D-Pad is sorted - otherwise it's going back
Anyone know if there is a wireless controller with a decent d-pad available?
seen this one but not sure if anyone has used one similar?

I will suprised if it is delivered tomorrow, as it is not supposed to be released until December, but you never know.
I am going to cancel if they say it is a pre-order item later today.
I agree that these are steep, the Pro Controller lasts longer before it needs a charge and PS4/Xbox controllers were more than £38-£50 when they first released, you cannot compare controllers that have been out for a longer.
Not for me. I only order from them when I get a discount code and have never had to pay for collect+
How much were the other console controllers?
I didn't buy them day one, but they were around £44 average maybe £49.99 when I got my PS4 (when diablo 3 came out on PS4).
My Xbox one 2nd controller was under £30 new, just before the one S came out.
thanks boss - will probably invest in the adapter then - seems easiest option (edited)
yeah mine is showing expected delivery as December now
True - thought you don't need to buy a battery (Xbox) and the general quality and battery life is way better than the PS4
Admittedly I use each of these controllers with my PC generally (The Pro controller works with steam games out of the box!) but I've found this to be the only controller that holds its charge for more than a few hours + feels lovely in the hand.
