If it's just the football you are after don't do it before tomorrow otherwise you have to subscribe for an 11th month just for the final day!

About this time last year I got 12 months for £200 up front. Hoping something like that comes along again for the start of the football season/second half of the F1 season.

It was Sunday the 8th of August 2021, 5 days before the season started so still a chance.

£25 a month for up to 12 months deal is now available to everybody I think... Personally I will wait a week or two for something better, but this offer is valid until 28/08/22 so handy to note...

If anyone is interested in sharing an account, just let me know!

I can pay you for your account or you can pay me for my account if I sign up etc. If it helps I'm willing to prove who I say I am and send ID, pay in advance or add you on Linkedin/social media etc.

Doesn't look like I'm getting anything, my offer from last year runs out on the 4th. Really quite annoyed.

Does anyone know if creating a fresh account is likely to bear any fruit?
    bitz2007's avatar
If you've got an active pass you won't get offers by Email or in the offers section of your Now account for the same type of pass until that deal has finished. So like everybody on the £200 for 12 months sports deal from last August it's too early for you to receive offers that way (unless you've got a second account), however, if an offer becomes available via the Now TV website it can be stacked onto your existing deal.

Make sure you cancel your existing deal before the 4th, it won't make any difference to when you can receive offers on that account, but it will prevent you from being automatically charged £33.99 for another month of sport, and when you cancel there is a good change that you will receive an offer to stay. I'd love to know why I never get these email offers. My hukd £200 up front from last year is expiring soon and I want something to replace it.
    DonkeyKonk's avatar
I am in the same position, I am thinking I might not get an offer until the 5th August (when my 1 year £200 deal expires).

NowTV might be seeing my account as having an "active" subscription because it is valid till then (even though I have cancelled it 2 Weeks ago).

I would suggest cancelling your current deal, might help (and if you don't cancel you will get charged £33.99 automatically when your current deal expires). (edited)

Does this allow you to watch red button games? (Championship midweek)

It did last season, although they appear at the bottom on the app as 'bonus streams'

i hadnt spotted this deal before i messaged them last night on the live chat, they said there will be offers before the season starts but ive not had anything yet either
    bitz2007's avatar
Last season it was £200 for 12 months, as well as a monthly £20 deal like this. They were both listed on the Now website on the Sunday before the PL season started (the equivilent of tomorrow) (edited)
  9. adam_1001's avatar
Out of interest, is this a decent price? Until recently, not subscribed for this but now semi interested for the F1 so not sure what prices have been like in the past / if theres a better way of doing this
    Rob_Wyatt's avatar

Yeah it's a good price if you want a long period at a reduced rate. You can some times get cheaper rates for much shorter periods. Recently they had an offer of £9.99 for one month. But you would very rarely see it cheaper than this price
  10. deleted265989's avatar
If you get the boost you can share with 2 other people, it's full hd too. £8.30 pm is a great deal.

Good to see, I have not received anything yet, but will be checking everyday the next week or so and still hoping to see the Season Pass for £200 like last year....would not be surprised if that goes up to about £250 though...

I remember last year that people were getting different offers, and it is hard to judge whether it is worth waiting for something better of to take whatever they offer, but from online chats it seems that the Season Pass may well appear again in the next week...

However if I got the offer of £19.99 a month I would probably take that happily.

Here is the link to the NowTV discussion on deals for this season...

if it’s football and nothing else be careful , the Word Cup is in November this year that’s one month that sky / now won’t be showing any football they don’t tell you that ,don’t sign up to a year long deal unless it’s a no brainer
    heylive4a2000's avatar
Thanks for this .......I don't know what to do now........take this or wait for the 200 up front
  13. adamstreeter86's avatar
Is there any sort of catchup on this? I often can't watch the F1 live but would like to watch the full races?

    Same for indycar
    bitz2007's avatar
There is but its considerably delayed, I gave up on watching the full Austrian GP when it still wasn't available at 9pm and watched the C4 highlights instead. (edited)

I got the £200 for 12 months offer last year but haven't had an email for this one. I asked on the live chat if I could get this offer, he said everyone will get an email. He's obviously full of as we haven't all been sent an email and this offer is ending on 04/08/2022
    bitz2007's avatar

I was getting concerned as my direct debit at full price goes out on Wednesday, so I went through the online cancellation process and accepted 3 months at £19.99 a month. It's not ideal but I'll have to see what's available at end of 3 months. Before I did that, I tried online chat and this is what they said:

"I have checked and currently there are no offers going on for Sports Membership however I would like to inform you that there are offers throughout the year and there will be new and exciting offers coming soon in the coming months. You can keep an eye on the NOW website as well as your registered email address for offers." (edited)

I’m in the same position as my season pass expires on the 5th and I’ve been offered 3 months at £19.99. Haven’t taken it yet as I was hoping for a similar 12 month up front payment. From what you have said that doesn’t sound promising.
  16. Sir_Tom's avatar
Also not received any sort of offer by e-mail. If anyone has a spare code for this, would greatly appreciate it.

Contacted NOW Live Chat but they weren't very helpful and just kept saving offers were account specific and other offers would be available throughout the year...
  17. JC7's avatar
Just signed up for the £19.99 for 12 months deal. You get free boost for a month. It's the last day of the deal before it ends.

Did anybody else get the message 'We are saying goodbye to this devise' message when logging into the Now app on their TV last night ? I've since checked online and 2015 Samsung TV's, and 2014 and 2015 LG TV's will no longer be supported from 4th of September, it would have been a real pain if I didn't already have a Now TV HD stick for use when on holiday etc as they now appear to have discontinued as well. (edited)
    user777's avatar
Yes they do such things... real pain in the ***
A few years back they have removed themselves from Xbox, then from their white streaming boxes, which we actually bought from them... (edited)

This is account specific, I’ve not had an email yet. I paid 200 upfront last year so hoping for something similar. Worked out at £16.67 a month.
    adamashworthh's avatar
Same here, and i pay for boost and split the whole thing with 2 other people so we all paid £67 each for the sport last August and then pay £7.50 each for boost, movies and entertainment passes, so so cheap
  20. ui5ir6m9be's avatar
Can’t believe in this day when TV manufacturers are trying to sell 8k TVs that we still have to pay Sky or Now extra just to get HD
    Pondlife's avatar
That's as much on the manufacturers peddling nonsense as it is sky tbh
  21. Dougal_McGuire's avatar
Still 19.99 a month too expensive.

Yes, all the Sky Sports channels.

Like many of you in the chat, I jumped on the £200 for the year deal this time last year. Now had the email on another account for £20 a month. I have a feeling that £240 for the year will be the best we get given the extra costs across the board during the cost of living crisis. The offer ending on August 5th is annoying. Anyone else planning to wait right until the last minute for a possible £200?
    tyke's avatar
I plan on cancelling tomorrow as direct debit due on 3rd. Can live without it for a couple of weeks, then see what offers come up.
  24. bitz2007's avatar
Was wondering when a Premier League deal would appear. It looks like this is it but I'm currently £18.99 a month until March so will stick with that.
  25. matt.whats's avatar
I'm tempted by this as it seems a decent offer, anyone know if sky bet league one matches are broadcasted live? Or is it mainly focused on premier League.
    bitz2007's avatar
Sky are contracted to show 20+ Sky bet one and two games a season, Plymouth Argyle who I follow in bet one were shown live three times last season including their final game of the season against MK Dons which had play-off ramification for both teams.
  26. singh60's avatar
Hmm, my email offer is £24.99 for 12 months 😥
    afckev's avatar
Same ! May be worth Live chat them for a better deal. I did that last year and got the £19.99 deal. Will try again
  27. StevenMather's avatar
Been waiting for this. Usually it’s only season long - but this time it’s for 12 months.

Of course, you’ll get Now Boost for £5 so you can watch the footy in decent quality. So it’s really £25 pm.

Just heard this from NOW. “Yes, you receive an email regarding the seasonal offer for Sports Soon.

Please keep an eye on your emails.”
    Wullie32's avatar
Did this ever materialize? I've tried to get a better price than the £25 offer and the Live Chat suggested I'd get a better offer via email but I don't really believe them.
  29. erroll's avatar
Unless the £200 deal comes up again I'm prepared to pass this year. I think £16.66 a month with a discounted 'Boost' offer is about acceptable but anything more is overpriced.

Anything >200 I'd rather put towards energy costs rather than lining Sky
    W_Hosking's avatar
With eneregy costs going sky high, services like SKY TV are going to see a whole lotta subscription losses in the next 12 months
  30. JC7's avatar
Can cancel anytime, so if you sign up on 4 August you can only cancel till 4 December. Premier league ends 12 November and resumes on 26 december (edited)

Still no email. Sucks that these offers are system generated. Does anyone know of any alternatives to watch Premier league games?
    heylive4a2000's avatar
I use livetv dot sx replace dot with .
that gives you both flash stream and acestream but it buffers ....much better with a sub from now
  33. shapalando's avatar
Do you have to have subscribed before to start reviewing the email offers? Only just started with now after having the full package with sky but don’t want to pay full price for the sports lol. Do I need to pay it a few times to start receiving the offers?
    bitz2007's avatar
If you've got Personalised advertising switched on in the "My details and setting page" of your account you should get Email offers over time, or via the offers page in your account. Cancelling a pass before the auto-renewal date is reached can also result in a deal to stay being offered but it's not guaranteed (for me it around 60-70% of the time), and as a regular Now TV sports and entertainment subscriber the deals I'm offered don't tend to be as good as stated by others on here. If I didn't already have an active sports pass I'd probably be offered the £25 a month deal that others have mentioned on here rather than this deal. Unless you desperately need a sports pass for this weekend I'd hold off from purchasing for now because there is a good chance that a premier league season deal or longer will be available to everybody before the season kick-off. Last season it was £200 for 12 months, as well as a monthly £20 deal like this.
  34. NotoriousPhilZ's avatar
No offer for me and chat claimed they could not offer it to me as it’s system generated. I’ve done this the last couple of years so I’ll guess I’ll be taking to the high seas this season. (edited)

Does anyone else have a code for £19.99 a month for 12 months, they ain’t using?

    Thanks
  37. buttonmoonfan's avatar
Can you cancel after a couple of months or are you tied in to a 12 month term?
    Alf.Garnett's avatar

    Replying to

There probably roll the ,£25 +£5 boost a month through out the year so if turn of for 2 months during world cup and put back on you would have £50 saved up to counter to price rise

That what I will do and will work out cheaper for season
  38. beavis2007's avatar
Still checking for either the £200 a year or £19.99 a month deal fingers crossed it arrives before the weekend!

Copy and paste the link and it starts NOWS and lots of numbers.
