You can if you also have Virgin Media which will get you the Travel Inclusive Volt bolt on.

weird, it did a credit check, etc and refused me to buy it. I signed up to an o2 monthly contract sim a couple weeks ago for my mum which I am paying, but didn't accept this £15 a month for 150gb.

Not the greatest network but it does a decent job and this is cheap.
EE are the best but the know this and an equivalent 12 month contract simply doesnt exist.
For an EE 24 month SIMO you can find a deal where you get a phone. Says it all.

I'm with EE for ages a d they've gone down the hill over the last 2-3 years. Especially with their sim only contracts. We've had 4 contracts (with a phone as well) over the last 5 years and changed 2 to sim only. Guess what... Almost no network coverage anywhere. Checked the sims in a different phone.. Same problem. Checked different sims in the sim only phone... All good. Called, emailed.... No help whatsoever. Their customer service has gone down the hill as well. These big companies grow and grow and they forget where they started.

O2 seems to get a lot of hate.

For me in Bradford & surrounding West Yorkshire its been fine, averaging 20-60mbs on 4G & upto 160mbs but mostly around 80mbs on 5G. So not lightening fast but more than reasonable. Only struggle at stadiums where is there is thousands of people like most networks.

Will differ for everyone but thats how’s been for me

I'm with Virgin Media for Broadband, my EE deal has just finished. If I order this, how does this double to 100GB with Volt? (edited)

Within 14 days if the O2 contract is at the same address as Virgin, it should automatically double to 100gb as well as upgrade your broadband package to the next speed.
If it doesn't, just call up to organise it

How does this work if you are already on o2? Currently paying £15.99 for 100GB and my contract is up next month

Could I get this? Can you get cash back with it? Could I keep my normal number? How long does this deal last for?

Yes, this works if you’re already an O2 customer (I just upgraded myself this morning and it was live this evening).
When you check out, log in because you’re an existing customer and it will ask you if you want to apply it to your existing sim or get a new sim. You can check this by going through several steps in the process without actually buying it.
    It’s a 12 month contract.

Does anyone know which network is good in Shrewsbury and surrounding areas?
I was on EE and it was ok but changed to O2 around 2 months ago for double speed on VM Broadband.
Might be the worse network I've ever had and I've had Three before.

Just did a speed test and it was 3.9Mbps. can never load a YouTube video unless I change it to 480p

    Using S10+ (edited)

There is 4 major networks & you have tried 3 of them, so you may as well get a PAYG on Vodafone now and try that as thats your last best then pick which ever you had the best results with
