Should be national this one, said in the magazine that they would have the regular munchen hell but when I went to check they had the oktoberfest version. They also had Spaten Hell for £1.79.

    I believe it’s the Paulaner Helles that’s in store rather than the Oktoberfest version. At least that’s what it says in their weekly deals leaflet. Happy days if it’s the Oktoberfest one as that would be an even better deal.

    I stand corrected. My wife has just returned with the Paulaner Oktoberfest beer which is a great deal. It does show the Helles on their leaflet though.

    Did they have Oktoberfest instead of helles? Thinking if I need to take a trip out to grab the Oktoberfest before it sells out

    They seem to have really limited stocks of these, at least around west yorkshire. Didn't see the festbeer anywhere that they were supposed to have.

    Went back for some more Oktoberfest and all gone unfortunately! It's lovely.

    Yeah, I went back earlier in the week and grabbed another one. When I did my big shop yesterday they were all gone. Still had quite a few Spaten though. The Aldi’s own helles they had wasn’t too bad either, says its brewed in collaboration with freedom.

    Nice one op picked up a couple today.

    For people saying their stores don't have any - carefully check the middle isles. I almost missed them, fairly discreetly located amongst the special buys.
