    Note: If you use your ps5 with a monitor then this won’t be of anyone use. It didn’t seem to be able to control the volume at all. All it could do was navigate through the UI. I don’t know if I did something wrong.

    Most monitors won't have HDMI-CEC which allows the control of connected devices.

    Go into the monitor settings and check.

    Unless it's a high-end monitor or comes with its own remote, it probably won't have HDMI-CEC so the PS5 remote won't be able to control the monitor's volume.

    Thanks for sharing OP. Managed to get the last one at my local store. 
    Been wanting to pick one up for some time, but could not justify it at full price.

    I recently found my Samsung remote works with the PS5 really well. However, the streaming shortcut keys would take you to Samsung’s own apps.

    Why would you want this? You can use your tv remote to control the ps5 pretty easily

    Absolute trash. Gone through 2 of these within a year, remote rarely maintains a connection and has to be reconnected to the ps5, after a while it just stops working, I found my LG tv remote works far better than this even though you have additional steps to change apps
