Terrible games this month
Poor choice this month
Great games, poor choices for Plus given how cheap they both frequently are.

I mean I'm overburdened with games from Plus I'll likely never get round to playing as it is so it's hard to muster up any real frustration over it but for newer subscribers this is a pretty low value selection.

I really enjoyed Edith finch
To be fair these are both decent games and if you don't already own them, this isn't a bad haul.

Unfortunately I already got both of these for free on PC and Xbox so it's too little too late for me. Oh well
Overcooked is a fantastic game. From What remains also looks like it has been well received, however i have not played it.

This is a rumour, not been announced yet has it? Even if true we shouldn't put it up as a deal till it finalised.
Good games but no amazing headliners
Pants selection from both Xbox and Playstation this month in my opinion.

It was £1.69 last week or so... I bought it.
Japan's is better
What Remains of Edith Finch is an incredible thing, a brilliant example of the kind of story-telling that could only ever be done with the medium of games and it'll be a real treat for anyone who's never played it before.
Overcooked is great, but i own it. Edith Finch looks ok as an experience i think. But yep.... a poor month.

Just what remained of her?
Really disappointing. I'll give them both a go but I'm not best pleased about this. Seems like Sony want me to buy an Xbox next gen.
Those are 2 good games, but like others have said I've been there, done that on Xbox, so that won't be the excuse I need to renew PSPlus
Overcooked is an amazing multiplayer game.

If some of you have friends you'll love it.

Most of you won't...
You would think that as we approach the end of this generation there would be plenty of rich pickings around for ps plus.

But the opposite seems to be happening. It has mainly become the home of fading multiplayer titles and assorted b-listers.

Granted Overcooked is a decent title but its been available for pocket money for months if not years.

Been wanting to play these two, but was just going to buy them on sale where they go quite cheap. PSplus has dipped considerably over the last few months, glad I cancelled my subscription.
Wow, might resub for this. Last months games were utter trash. Played both games on the PC back when they came out. Overcooked is the most fun co op/party game I've played in a long time, especially with 3 friends. What Remains of Edith Finch is an absolute masterpiece in storytelling and one of the most gripping and beautiful gaming experiences I've had over the past couple years, even though its quite short. Quality month!

Wish the people voting on this post agreed with you
What Remains of Edith Finch is great but it's 3 hours long at best, and Overcooked is mainly co-op. Disappointing.
This is possibly photoshopped. wait til 4:30 for the official announcement
I cant remember the last time I played a monthly ps plus game. It doesnt look like its about to change this month.
Would prefer overcooked 2 so you can play online
Holy crap that is crap

Lowest price its ever been is £7.99...
If this is the line up I'll personally be majorly disappointed. Overcooked was one of the October Games with Gold but as someone that's a big fan of walking simulators/narrative heavy experiences and was really hyped up about WRoEF before its release, it's a terrible game in my opinion. Not only did I detest how everything was so spelled out for you, I really found it to be a self-indulgent, linear and exceedingly disappointing experience in almost every single way throughout aside from one actually well done story in the cannery that is entirely worthy of praise, it was simply dull how it felt to be designed for people that couldn't finish a walking simulator before so they had to throw a shiny new bit in every 15 minutes. The entire game the whole loop seemed to be walk, overwrought rubbish narration, new little (effectively) mini-game segment, fade to black, another round of young-adult novel level of whining, repeat until the end.

I suppose it could act as a gateway into better narrative games as it really does seem to be the walking sim for people that hate walking sims so that could be an overall positive though but for my money things like Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, Ether One, Gone Home or even Dear Esther, to go further back and to something far more basic than the others, are all far more deserving of praise.
I hope this isn't true.
PS Blog is down, games are that crap even blog site doesn't want them.
This is a rumour at the moment.
If both games were on PS Store for £1.40 each how would the deal be voted I wonder? If you shop about and get an annual sub for £33ish then that's what each game would cost (ignoring the free online storage, network access, free Now TV pass & other deals, etc. which you also get).

I know it used to be better and cheaper but just look at what it currently costs and what you get - is that a deal? I'd say 'yes'.

Awful selection
Edith Finch is a fantastic little game. Can't stress how little I care about Overcooked. Looks photoshopped though, so who knows?

Though the PS+ games are rentals.
