Why this brand jackets are so cheap? Is it bcos of quality or brand name

Bit of both. It's not a designer or fashion brand but an outdoor brand so you save a bit there. But at the same time the qaulities not as good Berghaus for example.

My personal experience is mostly worth the money and will last you a season maybe two but nothing more than that.

Just cheap jackets, nothing special and too short. Pretty much this price everywhere. Nobody in their right mind would pay the RRP for this or anything else for that matter.

Is this actually proper water proof? That gets brandished around a lot

Hydrafort is a decent waterproof fabric.

Deal breaker right there if you get it and wrong size for you.

A quick google and it looks like most places sell this jacket in the £20-£30 range. e.g. sports direct is doing the same jacket in red (well, looks identical) for £22, called "Regatta Haig Sn99"

Stitching is poor on this brand. Pretty much everything I've had from then has had at least one seam come apart within the first year, but considering the price it's still good value. It's disposable fashion, basically.

got it today, quality jacket. thick and waterproof. definitely worth 40-50 pounds.

Just some feedback received the yellow one (because who doesn't want to look like a melon or banana!) Think it's a bargain for the price worn during a downpour and yes it's waterproof and kept me warm. Not sure how warm it would keep me in freezing or sub temps but for now it does the job and does it well.

This jacket would be fine if it was 10 CM longer, the manufacturers never seem to take this into account.

What's the sizing like on these for tall people?
    justjamming's avatar
You'll find they are often a bit shorter than you'd like. I'm 6 feet, and large fits length, but often a poor fit around the rest!

    Decent jacket for the money

If you want a very basic waterproof to jump between the car and office/school then this is a decent jacket.

Don't expect to keep dry or warm for longer that a few minutes, hence the price.
