Not really. Also Eufy video doorbells the 2k ones are far superior and no subscription needed.
Ring is only good if you are going to pay for the subscription
I prefer the Google nest ones
To be fair, if you don't like it, return it to amazon- I wouldn't recommend anyone get Ring anything...I have a doorbell and four cameras and other than being a deterrent, they're pretty useless.
We had an estate agent come show some people round our house the other day... Should have been caught coming and going on two cameras and the doorbell, but none of them recorded a thing. We have it on max settings basically, there's just no more configurability with Ring to make them actually work. 
What is the point of buying a video doorbell and an Echo Dot as a starter kit ??????
Someone will definitely buy this and wonder how they see their caller
