    Been buying more off Aliexpress recently but it is a bit of a show if you have an issue! I had a combined delivery where the bag had been damaged in transport before reaching Royal Mail and one of the items was missing, despite the item only being worth £3 I'm having a nightmare with getting it sorted. It just puts me off buying anything expensive from there.

    I would NOT recommend using Aliexpress

    My account was "hacked" earlier in the year despite having a very secure password, generated by my Apple device.
    Several fraudulant orders were made under my account to various addresses in the US.
    When I contacted AliExpress to immidiately inform them of this, they told me to wait for the package to come even though I had made clear it was a fraudulent order and wouldn't be coming to my address so how could I wait for it to come?

    Furthermore, someone else's credit card info was on my account. AliExpress kept asking me for the card number which obviously I did not have.
    I asked over 15 times for the account to be closed to prevent any further fraudulent activity, this was totally ignored and it took in excess of a month to get the account shut down and various chats to their useless customer service advisors who either didn't understand plain English or didn't care.



    The staff at Aliexpress were clueless and twice sent me screenshots by mistake from their end which showed sensitive information relating to other customers which is very concerning GDPR issue.

    Never, ever again. Be very careful using Chinese websites like these.
    If you get a cheap deal, great...the prices are reasonable but these organisations in my opinion do not take their customer privacy and concerns seriously at all.

    Wow, this is quite shocking! I've had issues with Aliexpress' customer service but they were relatively small-ticket items so I let it go.

    I think their customer service (for what it is - not great and very hard to convey anything slightly complex due to language barriers) has got a bit better - but then, I've not been hacked - and many listings ship much more quickly via the Cai Niao Premium service (who then hand over to Evri when in the UK, at least in my area) instead of the usual 3 month wait

    But to be hacked, details changed, told to wait for a parcel (to another country!) to arrive (?) and not supported is ruddy awful. (edited)

    Pay with PayPal and nothing else.......if there's a problem do the process with Ali and when you get nowhere (because that's what's happens 9 times out of 10), then contact PayPal by phone....they will sort out sharpish

    This seller Cutesliving Store has 93.7% so they're on the cusp of 95% but not suitable to be posted as a Deal, had my eye on the 1MORE SonoFlow for a while!
