This is historically the lowest price for an NVMe + SATA SSD enclosure ever. Available in all four colours (black, blue, pink, and silver), comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable, is tool-free, and there's a small heatsink and thermal pad included.

To get this price, select option / colour: NVMe SATA-Black (or Blue/Pink/Silver), then collect the coupon "£6.47 off orders over £10.51" right from the page, or you can alternatively use the "M2M828A" coupon during checkout.

Add few quid and get proper one made of aluminium instead of plastic

Bought one of these last month.

    It went in the bin.

The connection to the MVMe does not even fit, forget about anything else. Total waste of money. (edited)

I own about 8 of these and on all mine I haven't had that problem.

They really need to sort out their landing page though with all the options for the item you can buy as the one selected at LP is never the actual one. (edited)

Orico Store is a very dodgy place. You MUST make sure you're ordering the right version from the small pics to the right (near the price) because the prices, specs and included products are greatly different.

The vagueness of what product you're actually ordering seems intentional. They add an mildly related cheaper product in the listing so that the advertised price is very low. But, its not what the title says it is - and not what you want. So the title for these drive enclosures "ORICO M2 SSD Enclosure NVMe NGFF 10Gbps PCIe SSD Case Portable USB C 3.2 Gen2 Tool Free External Adapter with Metal Heat Sink", but the price displayed is for a SATA (5GBPS, B key) enclosure.

E.g. they sell a case for these M2 SSDs. The ad shows £2.00, but there are 2 different versions available. The default £2.00 one is TOO SMALL for these drives and is of clearly a poorer quality (121mm long). The other three are proper size and will fit (159mm long)...but the price is £5.35. This drive enclosure is 124mm long. They do this with a lot of their ads. The products are good, however, as are the deals here, and I've ordered one.50844513-g4C4J.jpg50844513-5282H.jpg

Would these types of devices be ok for a 30mm drive?

I'd expect this generous code to be pulled any minute, as I don't trust the '28th of August' expiration date written on the discounted list price (and the coupon code).

I personally don't think an SSD enclosure of this quality and features will be available at this low price again anytime soon, if ever, so I suggest to pull the trigger right away if you are in need of one of these.

Really I see them all the time at ALI for very cheap. It's all they are worth.

Logged in with an old Ali X account and was charged £2.77 (Paypal) without even putting in code!

Thanks for posting. The code only worked for me via the app not via the website. Worth a try if you are struggling.

Can this be used as an alternative to installing an m.2 into the laptop/PC itself? My laptop only has one slot and that's being used, this would be great if so.

Yes at a reduced speed* equivalent to the bus speed from the port you connect to.

Above is a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port rated at 10Gbps
