  • The OIS correction angle has been improved by 58% and works with faster motion sampling to stabilise your shots. Meanwhile super HDR adjusts the colour frame-by-frame to keep every frame looking gorgeous.

According to various reviews these Exynos 2200 chip models have poor battery life. Although obviously this depends on how much you use the phone... (edited)

Had an S22 for 2 years. The battery life was a real nightmare! I'd be out of juice by midday on holidays, and I'd need to charge it 1-2 times a day on normal working days.
Now I'm a happy owner of the S24 (Exynos). The battery is brilliant, I hardly ever finish the day with less than 30% left.

I had this as my main phone for 8 months and the battery life was horrendous. It had also overheating problems. Switched back to my S21 Ultra which felt much faster. Avoid and buy an S23 if you are on budget. (edited)

Like other people have said this is the worst of the S series. I had it for a year and the battery life is indeed awful and the overheating issue was very prominent too. Upgraded to S24 and it's a breath of fresh air.

For anyone contemplating this, get the S23 and thank me later, it'll be the best decision you ever make.

It was this price on the normal samsung website yesterday. When I saw it there I was hoping there would be an extra discount using BLC however it was the same price. If there had been a further discount I would have probably gone for it.

Weird about battery life. I've had an s22 for year and hammer it, always lasts a day

This month will be two years for me and battery life is still fine. Typically disconnect the phone at 7am and by midnight it's around 20%.

Admittedly I'm a light to medium user but I'm guessing a power user wouldn't be looking at a 3 year old phone anyway.

Also I charge every night on a slow, 5w wireless charger so I don't know if that helped

I've owned one of these and I ran into a few problems with it:
    1. It overheated whilst I was using Android Auto in my VW
    2. Battery life was awful
    3. Wouldn't detect my SIM card at times and so it needed to be restarted

Bought a pixel 7a and all is well.

I think most of the mobiles are overloaded with Android auto. I have S22 ultra and I can't use it when connected.

I had this and truly the worst of Samsung's S series.

Any good alternatives to the galaxy s22 that don't overheat and have poor battery life?

S23 been using for past week getting over a day on one charge use in day some tiktok etc. But phones too small and S23plus out so going to taks chances on 24plus.

But if you ok with a smaller phone s23 is solid. (edited)
