Never seen the point of a waterproof hat myself. Cold, wear a hat. Rain, put up your hood

yeh i got one of the waterproof ones, but found whenever it came down i just put up my hood. Which left me scratching my head. For more than one reason.

Am guessing if it is water repellent then it's gonna make your head sweat like a boiled egg! A problem I seem to have with a lot of hats I've tried recently

I've got one of the other Sealskinz waterproof hats and I really rate it tbh. It's as breathable as any other bobble-hat I've worn as far as I can tell and the waterproofing does work well. You only notice you've been saved when you take it off and it's drenched like a towel

I have this hat, but never knew it was water repellent. It’s a really comfy hat, and keeps you nice and toasty in winter.

SEALSKINZ, what a brand name in this day and age. Good way to alienate half of your customer base.
