The build quality is absolutely crap.

Have been using one for the last five years, and have been very disappointed that it's been working just fine

4 quid at poundland, but the design and build is rubbish.

Use a double barrel version of this for pumping my bike tyres, 2x quicker.

Started using an old car foot pump for my bike, as you can apply more force with your foot. It was very sturdy but was bought 20 years ago when things were made to last a bit longer. It eventually failed so I bought this exact design online, and silver metal cap on the opposite end of the barrel to the cable is so thin, the plunger rod ripped straight down the side of it after 30/40 pumps of the foot ( only marginally thicker than a sardine tin ). So it will suffice for one or two inflations but definitely won't last. (edited)

These are generally horrible and cheap, a cheap track pump is much better, even for car tyres
