It's a shame this uses a VA panel. What do people recommend that has an IPS screen around this price?

I have top of the range Samsung Qled (paid £1400) and recently bought tcl 43" C635k . I can't see big differnce in picture quality. Obviusly tcl is darker and os works słower. But i only paid £230 and i think price to quality ratio is amazing.

It also has Onkyo sound. Which sounds good! (edited)

It's just a licensed tickbox item today. All of these TVs sound average at best. You likely need a sound bar if you enjoy good audio fidelity.

This one is better, a fair bit better imo. £100 better, maybe not?, buy this one via currys, there is 20 per cent cashback which knocks over 100 quid of the price. (when cashback is confirmed).

im talking about the 65 inch....you will get £75 knocked off when you cashback comes through on the 55....quite a bargain imo. (Dependent on currys prices of course...lol) (edited)

Might add, in order to gain full advantage of this TV you need a tcl account however tcl accounts are only available in 15 countries with the UK NOT being one of them.

I've got one few weeks ago from eBay's 25% off flash sale and very happy with it so far, much more responsive than my previous TCL and no issues with connecting eARC soundbar. Picture is also better but previous was non-QLED.

Price was much better though, £309 for 55inch iirc.

My 65 inch C635K was delivered today.

Outstanding telly for the money...I hooked up my shield to it, but it has android 11 and is nippy for a tv.

    Picture quality is top class.

If anyone buying, is not impressed, I'd be shocked!! (edited)

Looks like a lot of telly fer the money.
Anybody have this MAKE of TV?, it's not a name known to me, but (as with many things) it's often the same thing UNDER THE BONNET, the only difference being the "Name Tag", and a good name tag can add a lot of £ to any item.

I've got 55inch c825 picture and Onkyo sound are fantastic. But the smart features are shockingly bad.

Just bought the 65 incher (C635). Not bothered about smart features as ill hook it up to a Nvidia Shield.

I've had TCL before, ive found the smart features fine, not fast, but good enough.

I do have wired connections to speed things up...ive a 500 broadband package, not sure if that will be making the difference speed wise? (edited)

Look for some advice. Looking to spend anywhere from £400-£650 on a TV. 50” would be ideal with a centre stand, for movies and Netflix etc. are any of these worth the purchase? Any other recommendations appreciated. Thanks all

Just received and before I find out I have a few questions that may save my time. CEC seems to be not working with fire stick. Cannot use remote control for fire stick. CEC on on both, restarted. Is port 1 HDMI only 2.1 or all 2.1 or any other is 2.1?
