I ordered this TV and, waiting at my door when I came home was not a 55" but a 43" tv. When I rang them they said that I can keep the TV and receive 10% return or return the TV with delivery cost. Feel as if I have been duped. Have escalated the matter to their complaints team and am awaiting a solution.

Same here! I rang them but I couldn't understand what "deal" they were offering me. He kept saying you can keep the smaller TV and get a discount, but he didn't say what the discount was. I paid for a 55" and got a 43" so I'd assumed he just meant a partial refund

Good price for a basic tv. Cello do similar cheap basic sets, some even have built-in dvd players.

Had a quick look and found this image on John pye auction site.

Looks like it's studio's own brand/label. The uk ca mark suggests it could possibly be made by cello a UK tv assembler /manufacturer if not probably beko/vestel? Doesn't list any country of manufacture on this image or the box image i saw?

Probably similar to all the other sets like Bush, Hitachi, Sharp, Toshiba. Most likely edge lit, 50Hz, hdmi 2, Freeview. It's a basic tv, ok for bed room, kids room, guest room etc. Want better features or specs, spend more money on a higher tier brand.

It's made by Vestel, Turkey. Great price though. Some Vestel TV's these days are great for the money.

It will be back lit, not edge lit. Vestel usually only use backlights these days (they refer to it as DLED usually).

And 50hz is mentioned only to show compliance with PAL standards. The TV is fully capable of 4K @ 60hz. (edited)

Thanks op. My TV has turned blue so needed a new one ! I'm not fussy about quality as long as it's not blue
I used a new account so got 20% off which basically made the delivery free.
