I bought one from Amazon and liked it so I bought another one, this time from the ThermoPro store on Ali "Express" as it was a few quid cheaper. It took weeks and weeks to arrive. I'm not sure how it was shipped but I'm guessing someone brought it from China in a rowing boat. Also, the AAA batteries it said were included in the listing (as well as on the box it comes in) were not included. There was a space for them, but no batteries. I contacted ThermoPro and explained the situation but they misunderstood and offered me an Amazon refund for the price of the batteries. I said ok to it but the refund never materialised. Probably would have only been £1 so I don't really care. I shall stick to Amazon in future.

Batteries get removed before shipping on most items from China.
Normally, not always, it's in the wording.

Decent price if you're happy to wait 8 months for one that'll probably be cheaper on Black Friday.

Actually its not that long a wait, usually come in 45 days. I only order low value items from AliExpress, its full of fake items. So far i was not disappointed with delivery or quality though. (edited)

Got one of these for our solar kiln from Amazon the end of last week £7.99 and thought that was good price... they seem ok on temperature reading but the humidity can be a little bit out. They say +/- 3% i think I would say more 5% on occasion. We also got the two pack of the more basic ones for £8.49 for the workshop and our home office, mostly they all read the same on temp, but a little off each other on humidity... but all in close enough for that we needed
