  • Save Desktop Space: The vertical laptop cradle allows you to fold up and elegantly display your laptop, freeing up desk space and widely suitable for home and office.

Just a warning, if you do not carefully align the laptop to the slot, you can dent or scratch your precious.

It is also not too great for hotter laptops as the laptop lid has to be closed.

Same issue with my Steam Deck Dock, and other brand USB hub which also uses these aluminium profiles with sharp edges.

Wish they would machine a radius on the edges but this would add to the cost. (edited)

Personally I prefer this type - not neccessarily this one or brand:
Vertical Laptop Stand Holder, Gravity Auto Locking Holder

    Pros:
    1. It is plastic, not going to easily scratch your laptop.
    2. It allows laptop to be slightly open when vertically held.

    Cons:
    1. Plastic, so maybe someone will consider it "cheap".
    2. It may take slightly more desk estate than the one in OP. (edited)

I’ve always just used one of these letter racks 🤷

I have one similar and it really kills the WiFi on my MacBook. Think it’s all the metal!

My work HP laptop has rubbish WiFI unless the laptop is open too. Quite annoying as I'd rather the lid be closed. Means I've had to tell Windows to turn the laptop screen off when open and USBC & HDMI plugged in.

Had mine for 2 weeks and would recommend it. I've got a Macbook Air and it sits in there nicely. Lots of space saved and can use it with the lid closed. Well built little bit of kit.

It is ok for the new Macbook Air Mx running with the lid closed (which I have as well), but not some of the higher performance or gaming laptops (which I have also have and tested) - they will start trottling.

I recommend getting the dual slot one for not much more.

I would, but I'd end up buying a bloody laptop to fill the empty space (edited)

The dual-slot one is now only a little extra at £15.99 hotukdeals.com/dea…889 (edited)

I found it very hard resisting to buy this taking into consideration I can 3d print one from thingiverse. Still fighting. Wish me luck. Heat added ofc. (edited)
