I'm going to sound like a crazy crazy n00b here, but should I buy a licence key for Windows Home or Pro? It'll be for personal use.

This site sells pro and home for the same price cjs-cdkeys.com, I bought my 11 pro and 10 pro for £10 each.

They do decent pricing, but be wary of their QC. My friend bought a prebuilt PC from them a few months ago. He's not particularly techy. When it arrived, he called me as it wasn't booting into Windows. He paid for a Windows key, which they hadn't installed, and AMD EXPO hadn't been enabled. They've made up for it, but just be aware

If I select to not have windows installed,
will they still tweak the system to run optimally etc (if they even provide that as part of build?)

They use Windows to test the system and also do any bios changes to the system.

however, the system will be wiped of having Windows on it by microsoft partnership agreements if not sold with windows. "but; information has been passed on by various of users who reported it still on; i guess thats more of a builder issue". while others saying nothing at all.

Well damn, pc prices are so much cheaper than they were a couple of years ago.

I disagree. With the exception of GPUs coming down slightly in price (inflated due to Crypto boom) in general, all prices of parts are above the level of inflation. The best GPU right now costs £1.6k

Please pardon my lack of knowledge.

Hi bud, looking at the Palicomp link you listed for £2099.99. Only want it for gaming in my lounge on an LG C1 65”. Mainly want to use it for F1 sim racing with a quest 3, half life alyx and other pcvr games. Would this do all that at ultra settings? The TV goes to 120 htz so I would also be playing non vr games hopefully at 4K at 120 if that’s possible on this rig. Thanks in advance for any reply as I have been following your deals for the last 18 months and feel now is the time to buy.

    That's more like it
Some of the prebuilts out there sat in the lockdown era when it comes to pricing, so this looks a very nice set up to last a good while.

    Nice one... again

    Hi Sarden formerly haha
been following you for a while now and love all the great detailed work that you put in.
been doing my own research on what I want primarily a machine for and that’s gaming strictly, I’ve seen so many deals and all are so appealing.
i have done research and most reviews state that the Ryzen 7800x3d is truly best gaming cpu bang for buck.
its finding the gpu to match, I’ve always been a nvidia person and am a bit scared to get a AMD card even tho value for money seems better from your other deals.
    my budget is around £1500-1700
Only play Warzone that requires great frames looking for over the 200fps mark which from reviews this would get but I’m always second guessing thinking maybe a deal for a 4080 will drop around this price mark.
I want a all around great machine, don’t want awful ram or a board that hinders.
with regards to what I’m after what the best value specs and price I can get for my budget?
    sorry for such long post

    Hey Danial.

That's a request an half...... 7800XT3D with prime gear & 4080; good thinking on the approach of hoping some will do clearance due to 4080S, problem is lots of other system sellers are living in covid land still in prices,

palicomp did drop their 4080 below the new 4080s but even then that's some request, let me have a gander. (edited)

    Thank you.
I would take this system if you think it’s the best overall build with that cpu gpu combo

    # Cost £2199.99 / 10% = 219.99 = 1979.99

Exchanging this link we speak on PCPP: uk.pcpartpicker.com/lis…BHG

    - Same CPU, Ram, Case, PSU,
    - an unknown board, but I would say the same or alt B650 level.

    loss of AIO £90
    Half storage £40
Gain on windows +£80 at least (for retail)
Gain in GPU PCPP cost (value to FPS another story) £100
Gap on end consumer out of pocket from deal 1 to deal 2: £360

Loss of value of £210 deal vs deal (excluding debatable value items).
/ if u were able to get a new customer discount 20%

Same goes for the very deal i did the other day; at £950.00 clearly ive done better deals and playing it on the sly with the on offer code to be welcome here, but more so who can obtain the 10/20 code. that 950 /10 = £855 or 20/760

at £760 its pretty much the costco 4060 except with a ti for another £60.
at £855 it still a remarkable deal for many against the market if ur the type like windows on.
at £950 its just a no ha.. as the votes say.

with respect of ur link; 10 its a no, with the 20 then its like the 10 on the other, as its not priced up the same.

and that before we go into the reviews of PCPP on the part of 7900XT being £100 more than a 4070Super too, which u can feel free to check out on YT. (edited)

Thank you for this, if I was able to get 20% off and 12 months interest free then it’s interesting for me as could pay monthly instalments.
guess I will wait for a 7800x3d and 4080 that I’m sure you will find for r a super great price
  13. HappenstanceUK's avatar
Nice deal. It's tempting but I think I'm still going to hold out for a deal on a 4070 ti Super build.
